I've been playing this game for a while now and I think I can give it a review other than good, or not good.

In my subjective opinion the game is great, it allows me to relax, get away from everyday worries, recharge my batteries, and after all, that's what it's all about.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is constantly updated and, what is not common in games, it gets better every time. The developers really listen to the community, the interaction between the players and the developers is amazing. The community events, for which you can get items for your steam inventory, are interesting. Some of the community events are mirrored in events that happened in real life. As for the items you can get, they are truck/trailer paintings, interior decoration items, or the main menu background.

The physics of the trucks are not simulation, which may bother some, but for the most part I think it is enjoyable. The vehicles are easy to drive on the keyboard (especially with mouse steering), the game pad, but the most fun is with the steering wheel. The game allows you to choose the type of parking, for those who don't want to stress unnecessarily, you can choose to park easily or even skip it altogether. Of course, the truck needs to be refuelled and it is worth remembering that the vehicle and parts wear out from driving, or get damaged from accidents. Unfortunately, this damage is not visual.

The game has a company economy, where vehicles can be purchased, modified and employees can be hired to use the trucks purchased. The economy is not complicated or challenging, which can be a plus for beginners. The option to buy garages in European cities makes it easier to expand the company and provides space for the truck collection.

A game definitely worth buying, even more so because of the quality and quantity of content compared to the price. The DLCs extending the possibilities to explore the map of Europe are well worth the price, they add hours of additional entertainment and, despite the scaling of the map, are rich in detail, familiar buildings and monuments and, above all, made with commitment and love. Additions like the Italia DLC or the newly added Balkan areas are downright beautiful.

It is worth adding that the game has an official multiplayer mode, but there is also a huge TruckersMP mod that is supported by the game's developers.

TLDR it's worth buying, the game is often on promotion and provides many hours of gaming and relaxation.
