I first played this on PC Gamepass for Xbox, however it was well behind on updates and quite glitchy and a little confusing at first. I really enjoyed the game regardless because it felt quite fresh. I much preferred this version as it had some QOL updates which made the quests less confusing.

A lot like Stardew Valley but no farming involved so far. Running the bathhouse is quite fun. It feels like a puzzle game rather than a chore (you have to put certain spirits next to one another so that they are happy and pay more). I guess it can get a bit grindy in terms of washing towels and chopping logs. But I think it can be quite relaxing at the same time. I am not sure if this is already a thing, but unlocking a spirit who helps you wash towels / chop logs later in the game would be awesome and take away some of the grind.

I love the characters, the townspeople and the spirits are a delight, the music is relaxing. I can really just hunker down and lose several hours in this game.

Will edit my review if anything changes. So far, thumbs up! I love this game.

Absolutely great game with great humour, a bit dark and twisted at times but it can be cathartic and just hilarious seeing how many mutant animals you can breed/create and how much of an insane evil genius you can become.

After having completed the main story, I can say I'm actually really pleasantly surprised with this game. When I bought it, it was on sale for £4.18 and when I scrolled down, the reviews were very negative, many mentioning bugs and basically describing the game as unplayable. I decided to take a gamble and give it a try as I liked the art style and the concept and it was reduced.

I found none of the bugs mentioned in other reviews below, and experienced quite smooth and bug-free gameplay in general. If the bugs mentioned below have been fixed so quickly, I feel like the devs care about this game and want it to succeed. It is a very promising thing.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game and felt the pace was perfect. I didn't find it slow or boring at all. In the 19.8 hours I have been playing, I managed to build a successful shelter with over 20 dogs in at a time and had a smooth flow of dogs and adopters coming in with different needs, making it interesting and keeping you on your toes. I found that some things become grindy after a while, such as feeding & bathing the dogs and cleaning the kennels. However, when you gain enough points in Leashed In, you can overcome this by employing helpers who feed, bathe, clean and play with the dogs for you, so you can focus on attempting to home as many dogs as possible. And that's the most fun part, matching people up with the perfect dog and feeling that sense of accomplishment. There are also some cute mini games you can play with your dogs to increase their happiness and overall adoptability.

Overall, I highly recommend this game, especially while it is on sale because that was a steal.

I absolutely love it. Well worth the wait, thank you guys for making this game awesome!
Only downside is that I finished it in less than 6 hours, but I was so addicted the whole time!
The environments are absolutely captivating, and every time I figured out a puzzle I was thinking "Oh my god, that's so clever!"

Very innovative puzzles and overall game design. The smooth transition from one puzzle to the next is so satisfying.
While it's fairly short, I really hope the game devs continue to work on this and bring out more levels and things because I'm sure there were stretch goals that haven't been implemented yet... (hint hint: cat levels?)

Either way, the devs have done an amazing job and I am not at all disappointed. This is a fully-fleshed out experience and anyone looking for something new, unique and challenging should definitely try it out.

Fantastic game and universe that all of these games are built upon. I absolutely love the creativity and humour in all of these games, from world of goo to this game to human resource machine. I hope they keep making more for some time to come!

I love this game. You can program your bots to do absolutely everything you can do, and even make your bots make more bots to do your bidding. It can get a bit overwhelming if you don't keep track of what each bot is doing, so I have named all my bots and put them into teams. Progress can be a bit slow at times but it is certainly rewarding to watch the robot world domination unfold. There is always new tasks to do so you never really get bored, and the tutorials are very helpful to beginner programmers, such as myself. The constant updates and bug fixes from the developers is fantastic. The game is already very playable, but new things are always being added. It shows they care about the game and want to make it good, which is a thumbs up in my book!
