Csgo is a finshed game with full mac/linux and community support with dozens of gamemodes that work. I could play whatever I wanted whenever (You can still play csgo community servers in beta tab FYI)

CS2 is 40 % of csgo at best currently. This is a beta disguised as a full release like every other ♥♥♥♥♥♥ AAA dev does that people ♥♥♥♥ on. A unfinished product being 'sold' as one. A buggy mess were people can spiderman up maps, crashes and stuttering are at a rate you see in early beta stages of development. No hope anytime soon for support on dangerzone ,arms race, gun games ,surf , bhop, zombies, warm ups, etc etc.

So many issues are in the background of this game that people can't see because it's a just a fake stage in Hollywood and that stage is just "comp". Water is completely broken in cs2 .......WATER! If you go underwater everyone get the underwater sound effects, touching the bottom of water gets you stuck on the bottom of the water, if you touch func_doors triggers you will lag the server due to console command errors since error spam in cs2 is more expensive. Just a few findings on accident from communities that look past the smoke and mirrors that is this game currently. It is a broken mess the second you go past comp and its months of work to fix this.

The most complete thing about this game might be the hammer editor and thank god for that! Complete godsend compared to S1 hammer. Too bad the game released and we still don't have workshop support/custom server support so it does us little good short/mid term. Also still waiting on smart prop updates/guides among other minor things.

Community servers and workshop don't work and looks to be months away at best for modding communities. Many skins are broken , animations are broken, 5 stacks in high elo can still stomp solo ques, countless complaints of hackers still show the worry that they have not cooked yet on VAC ban systems, only a few models of characters are available, no new content or operations.

We have a AAA game that has only 9 mid sized maps ? This is Counter Strike! this is a game founded on community and modding yet all we have is 9 maps for 2-4 gamemodes after 6 months ? Valve hides csgo and pretends its dead because they know people going back to all that csgo has to offer players is still far higher than the shell that cs2 has currently.

Game is a year away from being good/great. It has massive potential but its being sold to us in a unfinished state. Shouldn't share the same reviews as csgo as well that's dishonest.
