Hello. I am Charles Tissington, a practicing doctor, math genius, and Dota 2 professional (and proponent of the Oxford comma, as you might have noticed). Firstly, please direct your complaints regarding my Dota 2 performance not to my comment section but to the nearest garbage bin. As someone who has 7 Divine 4 accounts and 1 Divine 5 account, I can tell you that while at first the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from people in lesser ranks (specifically Ancient and below) amused me, at this point I feel it is simply a tedious waste of my precious time. Thus, I am doing both of us a favor in being closed to it. If you truly believe I made a mistake, keep watching my replays until you are a Divine 5 player yourself, and then watch the replay of the game you had a complaint about once more. I guarantee that in the end, it was you who was at fault. Secondly, any racist remarks to me or other Peruvians will result in me feeding mid. This is inevitable and unconditional because according to the experience I have gained over tens of thousands of hours of playing at the very top, American players are at the bottom in terms of skill, Chinese players in the middle, and latino players at the very top. While some might throw to this claim their incomplete anecdotes, to counter said anecdotes I need only point out that different regions have MMR distributions. The basic issue is that people talk about MMR as though it is absolute across regions. In order to account for this, I have developed a new system to judge skill built off of MMR called GMS (Global Matchmaking Skill). There are main two differences between the archaic MMR system and my own sophisticated GMS system. The first is that GMS uses MMR percentiles rather than absolute points in order to account for the inevitable disparity that arises from placing a constant value on different things. The second is that it is only valid for the upper half of skill. In other words, since you, the reader, are more than likely under 5k MMR (50% percentile division), you do not even have a GMS. Using Valve's public matchmaking data I simulated application of my GMS in place of MMR, analyzed the results, and concluded that replacement with GMS (and banning the bottom 50%, including yourself) would result in over a 75% reduction in conflict. It is easy to tell just from this that Dota 2 is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ designed, thoughtless game. I am currently in the process of getting Valve to enact my idea, so consider your days in Dota 2 limited (or, for me, your days whining in my smurf's pool). Do not consider yourself an equal to me and do not commend me (a common form of idolizing) and I might just whitelist you for good behavior once my system is standard. Note that ALL players who have reported me in the past will be PERMANENTLY BANNED upon implementation of GMS. That is all I have to say. You may add me and ask one thing if you have further questions, but any more will result in a permanent ban due to such behavior being another common form of idolization.
