It's simple and fun enough. You do auto chess style rolling to try and level up your spells and clear the waves. In between turns you will get to choose rewards to place down in your territory, and i have to be honest, with a lot of them, i have no idea what the description is trying to tell you. So there's a high chance I was using them wrong. There's synergies you can build, but I found that they were not visually impact enough for me to care. It would be cool if there was more visual effects about how your spells are working together. Sometimes the spell which did the most damage for the round, barely did any visual at all.

Still it's definitely a fun little time waster if you like tower defence games.
