Perfected helmet workflow
```
1 import random .act model as .x file into pmxeditor (rename file extension .act to .x) with no upscaling or downscaling (tick the scale 1 box)
2 export as pmx file with no upscaling or downscaling
3 import pmx into blender
4 import desired helmet model into blender (perform needed offset so that it will be in the correct offset and rotation when on the head)
NB 7,62 models cannot have special characters (except for underscores _ , but not at the start), or spaces in the names of anything.
It also cannot have numbers at the start of the names of materialgroups mesh names etc.
5 select helmet model first then shift right click on the imported pmx model
6 press ctrl j to join
7 then delete the parts of the old model in edit mode (select via material tab) and remove the old material groups in obj mode
8 export as pmx model again
9 import or open the file in PMX editor (check if offset or rotation is done via importing a head model)
10 export as an .x file with no upscaling or downscaling (scale 1)
11 rename file extension to .act
12 open .act file in Notepad++ or your preferred text editor and make sure the texture filenames are just that and no backslashes or whatnot
with a pmx .x converted to act the filenames will be at the bottom
13 Using total commander insert the helmets model into the desired grouping (different files exist for different offsets and sizes of helmets)
14 Right click on the actor.descr file and click edit copy one of the lines and change the name of the file to match the id of the helmet and the model

it will look something like "Mesh "6b7.ACT" link "Bip01 Head" HELMET 26" in the .desc file (without the ""'s)
----You will also needed to have edited the Equipment.ini line for corresponding item will look like "ID 26 "Helmet 6b7" STD" std is where a texture filename would be inserted for a retextured variant of the helmet/hat ""ID 3 "Kevlar Helmet" "helmet_ACH.tga" "
also change the MeshNum to the corresponding # of lines with linked meshes

save and repack the .desc file
