As a lover of CS1 at the moment this game is Ok'ish its got some amazing functionality in terms of new road tools and some new game play elements but much like CS1 any long term player will know CS1 was also an OK'ish game as well but was very dull after a couple hours. When the community and modders got a strong foothold it was a whole new game and really what made it last a decade with deep detailing/simulation enhancements and traffic managing. This is the reason I cant really recommend this game to players like me and the serious CS playerbase... YET !

I have no doubt when mods properly come online and officially supported, a whole plethora of fixes and performance fixes are rolled out its gonna be a whole new game. In a years time itle be what we want it to be because of the community, CO have done a great job in all honesty at giving the modding community a good foundation to start off, its down to modders and the community to truly deliver the game just like CS1 is now.

TLDR : Give it a Year the Modders will Make it fun !

.Game play gets tiresome after about 3 hours
.6 hours of game play you've pretty much seen and done everything you're going to do
.Amazing road tools and is really satisfying to use those
.Building upgrades and addons is a great addition
.Scale ! just the scale of buildings and infrastructure is allot more accurate and realistic which is nice compared to the toony proportions of CS1
.ATM it just feels a tad bland and shallow, especially compared to full DLC and heavily modded CS1 (which is an unfair comparison I know but one for CS1 players to consider)

.I'd say still buy it because it is gonna be a fantastic game just not there yet it needs 2 years of community chopping and tinkering

post (Economy 2.0) i have been thoroughly enjoying this game now, and just as i change this review a whole slew of mods that make the game more enjoyable are availlable aswell
