I used a lot of these, it ain't helping when the core is broken. It isn't about looks, it's just that the core game sucks for VR, it ain't built for it, it doesn't work for it.
The whole game would need to be rebuilt with VR in mind to make it truly enjoyable experience, but Bethesda is Bethesda, a cheap, half-assed port is the best they can do.
Look, i spent my time really trying to enjoy myself, i really did. It just ain't fun, it's that simple. I have played the various versions of base Skyrim for probably 1500-2000 hours combined, it can be a decent enough game, but not a good VR game. I don't think i will be bothering to even install it again.
If you want to enjoy the game, i recommend these mods to make it playable:
. CBBE
. Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch
. Static Mesh Improvement Mod
. Enhanced Lights and FX
. Better Males Remesh for Skyrim SE
. Rayeks End SSE Expanded Edition
. Legacy of the Dragonborn
. VRIK Player Avatar
. HD Reworked Horses
. Beyond Skyrim Wares of Tamriel
. Frankly HD Dragon Armor
. SKSEVR
. SkyUI
. Skyrim SE 3d Sound
. HIGGS
. Water for ENB
. Better Dynamic Snow
. Tamrielic Textures
. Magical Winterhold
. Mealtime
. High Quality Food and Ingredients
. ENB Real Vision
. Apocalypse Magic
You might want to install more mods as well, but these ones are "essential" (my experience)
