Better computer and they're fixing the game! Performance and modding are better these days on lower tier gpu. had lots of fps drops to 40-47 in a lot of areas and now I'm getting almost solid 85 in most areas at 2560x1440 Nvidia SR Upscale Resolution. Although I'm told a low tier name brand nvidia gpu is better than a no name or knock off high tier nvidia gpu, but it makes sense, it's the quality of the parts and the programming. An ASUS RTX 2060 Turbo is actually 100% better real gaming performance than a Dell RTX 2080 super, and actually looks better upscaled than the latters native 2560x res image. I'm getting double the performance. Game is good, game play good, story half decent. Graphics are fine for an open world game of this type. Looks even better these days. Pick this one up, Fallout New Vegas is better if you mod it to fix the framerate and the crashing issues but you can, that's the thing. Please mod this game, trust me once you get the hang of it, it's more fun, it's way less bullish than it used to be.

Good game but after playing through a few times hacking gets boring as f**k. Makes the game slow down in pace

They changed the original fear too much and I don't think it works as intended. Can't seem to aim down the sight with mouse 2 bound controls either. And the game is waaay too hard 2 notches from the hardest difficulty, and I am seasoned, I've completed FEAR on Exteme on the Xbox 360 and pc.

made the final boss in SS SE way too easy, battle was over in 1 minute 30 seconds and I got my ass kicked on the previous level. Edit:

Manually selecting gpu for physx makes game play like old serious sam but better, but still they shouldn't have nerfed Mordekai's health. Makes the end seem cheap to second encouter but it's playable now so I can change my review to positive. Edit 2: Nvidia released a new 2060 Turbo driver today and the game has never looked better or played better than it does now, and I was using a current driver. Still have to manually select physx, it defaulted itself to cpu. Good old game, fun and looks crazy and plays great at high graphics at 2k upscale on a 1080p monitor. Looks fire for 2017 Serious Sam. This is a better game than serious sam 4
