Had to give it a bad review because of how difficult the game is even on EASY mode! I got to the mad scientist boss before I gave up. Not only does he have a bullet reflecting shield which kills you very quickly, he also throws acid piles everywhere, and uses a toxin gas which causes you to move opposite from your intended direction. On top of that, he has minions to take cheap shots at you the whole time.

You get to pick your weapon loadout and upgrades before each level. Melee weapons range from baseball bats to axes. Ranged weapons include revolvers, shotguns, AKs, etc. These all can be upgraded which is good. However, the ammo drops for them are scarce when you consider how many enemies are in each level. All it takes is one mob of zombies to attack you for 5 secs or so and then your full health is gone. It is even more frustrating because you cannot interrupt your attack animation by dodging, which gives enemies easy hits on you. You also get the ability to become a big zombie hulk after killing enough enemies, but it doesn't last very long and takes a while to build up again.

I am sure it would be more fun and less difficult in co-op but since it was just me, the experience was more annoying than enjoyable.
