It's an old game so you really should be buying the other games in the series (which is the main reason why I cannot recommend this game). That being said, if this is your only way to experience the Mount and Blade series, it is sufficient enough to get a feel for the series. Keep in mind that there is no real "ending" to these games but they can give some fun times for those who are interested in medieval warfare.

As a fan of the genre and the series, it is difficult to recommend this game at full price. It sticks to the core formula but at the end of the day, it doesn't give much incentive to play it. DOA6 has a huge focus on DLC, which hinders the game and the costumes that you can unlock are mainly for different colours (which is also tedious). It feels somewhat lacking but it is fun for a few matches so it is best suited for short sessions. I strongly recommend trying out the Core Fighters version before you consider buying it (although it doesn't seem to get much attention).

This is a short album with 4 songs and I appreciate that it is available in FLAC. For 2 good songs, one decent song and one miss (for me), I think it is worth a try.

I enjoyed Urban MDrive (my favourite) and Empty Hallways. Urban MDrive is a nice melody set with electronic notes, bass guitar and bass. Empty Hallways sets a foreboding theme with sub bass, piano and electronic notes. Eberbach Theme (Remix) grows on you and it sets a futuristic space theme, which fits for the game. IPL has plenty of bass but the rhythm sounds strange to me (this is easily my least favourite song in the album). All of them fit the theme of the game and being free brings some attention to this indie game.

Fantastic characters, great gameplay, intriguing story, amazing music, timeless graphics and a dedicated fanbase. This game has it all and it is easily one of the best fighting games I've ever played on any console or PC. I've played this game for years (so my playtime is much higher than what is listed on here) and I am very happy that they decided to bring it to Steam. I simply cannot wait for the new Melty Blood game.

For any fans of the genre or for any Type Moon fans, I would strongly recommend this game.

This is one of those games that take you 10 minutes but it is worth it. I like the premise and I hope other games experiment with it.

You burn objects (drop coins to gain more things to burn) to create entertaining sound effects and visual effects while reading the interactions between a young boy and his neighbour. It is simple but entertaining. Great fun for all ages.

It was short but great.

Soviet heathens come crashing down.
Our German forces push forward for the sake of the Reich.
The soldiers are battle hardened, cooperative and welcoming to a new recruit.
The voice chats are filled with men who are actually interested in strategy and your well being.
Not a single child/tween to be heard.
It was my first battle but I knew in the first 5 minutes of the game, this community was going to be great.

This game is what every damn man/woman that would ever be interested in warfare should have in their library.
This game teaches you how to make strategy and watch it fall to pieces when it hits action.
This game will increase your ability to think rapidly in situations that can come crashing down on you.
With mods and patches, as a standalone DLC, this game is one of the best Total War games in the franchise without a doubt.
I strongly recommend this game to Civilization fans, Total War fans, strategy fans and war fans.
It is worth every damn penny.

I had a friend invite me to the game so I went and bought it on a whim.
I spent an hour trying to join in and get used to the game.
I spent about 50 minutes murdering dinosaurs and having a ton of fun.

If you are going to buy this game, bring your friends!
You'll need them against the tiny dinosaurs.
