Oh yeah, worth the price. Lots of replay-ability given the perk system (As well as the satisfaction of being like a platoon leader.)
The campaign is unfortunately short (as of right now, assuming you find an overpowered build lol)

There is no pause, but if you stand still the zombies stop coming for the most part. Atleast for the past 5 or so hours I've been playing it no-stop, the card system is extremely strange and foreign to me, but I think I got it down.

It has a workshop element to a degree BECAUSE of the card system, where it affects stats and not graphics or audio.
(for everyone complaining it's not workshop compatible.)

In my opinion, solid game. The DLC and all that is something I'm not going to test until B4B is on sale again.

IT IS LIKE L4D, with an even longer campaign, stat and weapon modifications as well.

OVERALL: It's fun, it is pretty much the 3rd L4D involving more strategic thinking. With more options to customize your Character and loadouts.
As for everyone complaining about there not being a workshop, to that I say proudly.
"Dude, what is it you expect? It's a new game. If you CAN find a way to make it available through work shop with all the bonus little doohickeys and doodads that comes with the stat increases, the weapon modifications, the enemy modifications. If you know how to do all of that, apply for a job with the company and explain to them HOW you plan on getting the steam workshop set up on a game so complex, that you can make this a positive review game and not a game to only grab if it's on sale."

I really hope those discouraging reviews didn't ruin the possibility of another game like this. Or maybe the possible return of development. And additional content.

I also hope the delevopers stop doing DLC's and just put them into the game. THEN IT WOULD be worth 60$.

(Basing this off of the average amount of money you would spend to go to a movie theater and the entertainment you get out of it, assuming you paid for a party of 2.)

I'm hooked. For the price of it on sale, you would be insane not to get it.

Great game if you are not a common community member since Holdfast ripped off Mount and Blade Warband DLC NW

That game was over 10 years ago. Same graphics, complete rip off with a few here and there tweaks.

GREAT GAME! Holdfast is a great game, just the lack of admins and things said can really ♥♥♥♥ someone up.

I read the reviews but I kept hope once I realized i could mine AND build multiple stories and bought the game, Not worth 25 dollars :( tons of potential again this isnt even released. Would recomend for a 12 year old wanting to be an architect currently but this just wasnt what i was expecting... the reviews for this are too unrealistic for the amount of "fun" i got out of this.. Of course then again, i like rimworld where it's a bit more "gory"

Great game, Federatin Cruiser is tricky to unlock, you can't kill the crew to unlock, must be destroyed thats the only "flaw" i have found. ^_^ there are so many options and opertunities in the game, I recommend this with the slight downside of a little frustration xD!!!

Very story drivenly open. In a sense i say that because it requires a lot of immersive reading. If you don't like reading. This game will change that. But if youre someone who just go go goes and clicks the first option you see then you will have a hard time with this game. recommend
