Doing my part. Changing this review after Sony removes the requirement of a PSN account.

As promised, I changed my review. Great day for democracy!

If you're reading this after the Sony incident, you must know this is actually a good game. Most negative reviews are because of Sony, not Arrowhead the developer or the game.

As for why I like this game, here are a few thoughts.

Visually, the game is very appealing. The attention to details is amazing.
I LOVE THE PHYSICS and attention to details like how much ammo does a rocket turret have or the backpack with missiles. The ragdolling, how the weapons feel, the sense of community the game gives with the shared missions and easy to use "matchmaking" if you're solo. The fact that you can purchase the equivalent of "game passes" in game with paid currency that you can EARN THROUGH PLAYING. God I really appreciate this game and should be used as an example when making live service games. The only questionable thing they did was an update that nerfed most guns... mostly ammo-wise, but that's about it.

Another win for managed democracy. Thank you fellow helldivers!

I completed everything in the first game. It was better than I expected for such an old game.
I liked the story and the fact that I can make choices that at least matter in the short term. Some go into the other games also.

The gameplay was ok, but it could be better. Didn't really like how unimpactful the weapon hits were and the hp sponges the enemies were. The combat itself is ok and I like the abilities + the heat system.

I didn't like the planet missions with the Mako. It's just bothersome. I did more than half of the game without mods and then I discovered one to make the Mako easier to drive. Man, that would've saved me some time. Some side quests were quite repetitive and they just put you to do chores basically. Others were really good though with some nice story and actually interesting objectives.

For the first one I'd say it's a 7/10. Might come back with an update for the other 2 :D

This game is not really my cup of tea, so I only finished the main campaign. I saw there are more modes. The main story was quite enjoyable and I liked the mechanics, they put your brain to work a bit, but it was kinda short. Not saying it should've been longer, but I think this game is a buy if there's a sale on it... or if you really enjoy puzzle games and want to also play the challanges, then you can probably buy it at full price. I finished the main story in 2 hours. Anyways, it gets a like from me because overall it's a well made game and I can see that the developers have put a lot of work into it and they should be proud! :D

Decent early access game. Got me hyped out for what's to come. Definitely worth the 13 dollars even if you don't have friends to play the game with. You can probably find many cool people in the public servers. The concept of talking with a ghost is amazing. Would like to see a lot of improvement in that area. Glitchy game at times, but I think it's expected with how new the game is (early access). Would recommend it. Had a really good time with it especially at the beginning

Pretty good game but I wouldn't recommend buying it for more than 15 euros (the ultimate/legendary edition or w/e it's called). The story will take you about 7-8 hours to complete even if you play with all the playable characters in the story.

The multiverse is the place where you will probably spend most of your time if you don't want to spend it in online matches. I for example don't wantt to play online matches because I'm pretty bad at games like these, so the multiverse offers a nice way to level up your characters and profile in order to unlock even more content.

I personally like the story a lot and the graphics and cinematics and effects are really good :D

Overall I like this game a lot. The only minor complaint would be about the story... which surely exists, but it has some pretty big plot holes and contradictions.

If you like blasting demons on heavy metal and actually thinking while you're playing, then this is a good game for you. If you care more about the story, then you probably should save your money for a game that has a way better story (maybe Cyberpunk? Or the witcher 3)

Overall I like the game. It is a decent Tower Defense game. But it definitely could be polished up a bit. Developers should also invest more time into balancing legions and removing the random aspect of the game.

PUBG-like battle royale, but way better and f2p. If you like gliding, snowboarding or hiking, then this game is for you.

They still need to work on some stuff like sound, textures dissappearing at the beginning of the match and some other small stuff, but in general the game feels very good.

This game truly deserves to be played. It's free to play. You can only buy cosmetics and stashes in order to help manage your inventory better.

The game is being updated constantly which automatically makes people buy points for stashes. The next League will be exciting since they are combining a lot of the older leagues and they will change many things in order to make the game more complex and fun.

The only thing I would complain about is the fact that their engine and graphics feels a bit old. But other than that, Path of Exile gave me a very nice experience and it is much better than Diablo. That's for sure.

Even though it's not a noob friendly game and many people may be frustrated at the beginning if they are going on official servers Rust is one of the best survival games I have ever played. That being said, I have read some negative comments and I understand their frustration, but there is one thing to keep in mind... Rust is basically still in pre-release even though it is "officially" released on steam. They have a long roadmap ahead for the next 2 years and I'm sure optimisations will come to this game sooner or later.

Positives:
- great graphics (wonderful water and overall look, basically unity engine shines here)
- the gameplay is great if you don't go on the fullest/official servers
- great crafting progression
- monthly updates (before they were weekly)
- lots of mini-games to keep you entertained (parkour, tree-chopping, etc.)
- building a base is fun and it can also be a true test of your imagination (it's fun to build bases and then people can try to raid them, but newbies probably don't get to experience this on official servers... even I don't sometimes)
- this game makes you a bit more careful with people since you can't trust anyone in this game (believe me, I know)
- playing with your friends is mostly fun, the only problem is when people are slacking off and they are not helping with the base
- mods are nice even though I didn't play a lot with them (played rust royale though hahah)
- skins are interesting since you can even craft boxes if you want with the materials from the skins you don't want (I think they drop once in a while for free)

Negatives:
- harsh environment for beginner especially on official servers
- building decay is a bit too much sometimes, especially for a solo-type of player (you can't build big bases since you will not be able to keep up with the upkeep)
- there should be a middle ground for people who don't like their characters (monthly character reset or something similar?) even though I like the idea of getting an unchangeable character depending on the steam ID, but there seems to be an overwhelming amount of people who dislike it
- high PC requirements (I think that this game should be able to run well on Potato settings on almost any machine, but there seems to be some struggle even for me with a 1060, random fps drops and stuff)
- load times are horrible for those with an HDD

Rust is a game you need to get used to. When bad stuff happen I now say "yep, that's rust for you". The most frustration probably comes from the community, but you know what? That's how it is in the real world also. There are many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and you need to learn how to deal with them. Sometimes with a good plan, sometimes with smooth talk... and sometimes with a good bashing (not recommending this irl tho). Ultimately this is why I'm leaving a positive review. Most of the negatives don't bother me (I have decent PC and I got used to the community) anymore. If you manage to get past that stage, I think that you will enjoy Rust to its fullest. ALSO, Rust has huuuuuuuuge potential. Check out their roadmap... the electrical system should be one of the best features the game can offer when it's properly finished.
