I've been a gamer since 1977... Coin arcades and game consoles alike; 1st one was a Coleco Telstar Arcade (try looking that one up!) and have owned a console of one brand or another since up until 1997, when I bought my first PC; AST boxed PC (POS) and started modding it right away as it was, sad to be polite.

I've been PC gaming/modding and building since then (1997) and have never looked back. By no means am I an expert PC guy, gamer, nor a bragging type, nor do I live in my momma's basement... I am also not a brand-loyal FAN-BOY to PC makers, part manufacturers or particular lines/models of products. I despise that mentality, period.

However, I do admit that I do try my best not to "Dr. Frankenstein" my build any more than necessary; using different manufacturers for each part. Example, eventually, my case will eventually be retired with a Corsair replacement, with even more FANS!!!

I just enjoy having fun gaming/modding/building and when upgrades were needed. My rig is at it's limit performance-wise with hardware upgrades. I replaced my GTX 1080 Ti in 06/2022 with a RTX 3080 12G and it does make a marked improvement... DLSS ON, wow! Anything higher than a RTX 3080 paired with my 4790K and the price-to-performance calculator would be too far in the red to make sense.

My intent with this, is to make my system last another 2+ years, until WIN10 support drops off. Then purchase a new board, CPU, RAM, M.2 and WIN11.
