One of the best games I've ever played. Could use more ship designs and the endgame is a bit repetitive but still very enjoyable.

Yes there's tons of DLC and some are quite expansive but you can enjoy the base game pretty well without any of them since they always update the base game systems too. I only buy DLCs at steep discount which they often do.
