buggy as all hell, crashes when you try to change graphics settings and probably the worst UI I've ever seen in a game. Needs some work

Lovely little gem that gets overlooked too much. This game is a perfect example of how mods should be treated. Originally this was a mod for Insurgency. It does share a lot of things with Insurgency but the way they rework the original mechanics to make it fit this game results in a really fun experience. It does have some bugs but I think they can be easily fixed.
There are already other conversion mods for this game and hundreds of other types, so when you buy this game you're basically getting access to a lot of free, high quality mods. This is one of the games most shining features and it carried over from Insurgency. The game also builds on what made Insurgency made great and has updated graphics that look pretty good considering the game runs on the more than ten - year -old source engine, which also means that you can run it on a relatively low end PC.

Pros:
-Good gameplay, it feels very rewarding when you win a battle or a game
-REALLY good voiceovers, especially the American voices which are very convincing, however the germans obviously only speak in German so that can sort of confusing
-Well made maps with lots of locations
-Similar to Insurgency in terms of customization and objective based gameplay
-New gamemodes that fit the overall theme of the game better such as Liberation, Invasion, Etc. These are generally more fun than the normal firefight and push gamemodes that were carried over since the scale of the fight is much larger
-Aussie voice lines are hilarious



Cons:
-There are a handful of bugs that I've noticed while playing the game. I'll make a short list here.
-At times the brightness of the game is too low to see, and when you change it it sometimes ends up reverting to what it was before
-When you die and respawn sometimes the attachments of your primary will be floating in mid air and it takes a minute to resolve itself.
-When you fire a semi auto or bolt action rifle quickly, the sound will cut out on the second or third shot
that's about it, here are some other cons

-Pretty limited weapon customization
-The bipods on the machine guns are pretty finicky
-Limited weapon selection for Germans
-The playerbase isn't that large but you usually should be able to find an adequate game
-It's REALLY easy to die in this game. You have to be careful. It only will take one or two shots to kill you with most guns and explosives have a wide splash damage radius.
-The Einstoss thing that shoots the flames is can be hard to use properly


Conclusion:
Great game that is tons of fun even if you're fighting against bots. Probably one of my favorite games of 2017 so far and it's well worth the price especially if you can get it on sale. Also, I don't know if this would be considered a good or bad thing, but I'd like to note that this game is very gory. If you get shot or blown up with an explosive your limbs can be blown off and theres a copious amount of blood. Personally I like the addition but in case you have an aversion to that then I guess take that into consideration.

This was a really interesting and unique concept. It introduced some fun gameplay elements and all the environments were really well made, maybe even better than half life 2's world. However it was only about an hour or two so they had more time to create specific levels. Also the game is free so just download it already.

This game definitely has it's flaws but it's still a ton of fun.

Pros:
-Amazing soundtrack
-Great visuals and pretty environments
-Fun weapons
-Tons of content like items, furniture, blocks, etc.
-Decent main storyline
-Lots of crafting recipes and foods
-Ship customization
-Infinite universe
-Diverse characters and races

Cons:
-Awful side quests (boring cookie cutter stuff like deliver things, escort person from a to b, etc.)
-Making your own weapons is totally useless because you'll always find better stuff in dungeons and randomly generated chests
-You'll find the same structures many times on different planets (this is tragic because it's one of Starbound's main features. But there just isn't enough diversity and it gets pretty boring finding the same stuff halfway across the universe.)
-The races aren't very much different anymore besides how they look. Most race-specific weapons and such have been removed (I still don't understand why they did that). You can still find some special outfits relating to the races but that's about it. The gear has been watered down to be basically the same for all races.
-There's no type of save feature unless you quit and rejoin the game, where you'll end up beamed back to your ship
-Hunger is more of a chore with no stackable food items, and the other survival aspects like temperature and breathing have been entirely circumvented by lame backpacks you put on to heat or cool yourself and give yourself oxygen (lame)

Overall as flawed as this game is, it can still be a ton of fun especially with a friend or two. I'd think that the game would have worked out most problems with the official release but it's still feels like it's not all there which is a shame.

I went to the ncr correctional facility and killed everyone there by sneak attacking them with a machete 10/10

Awesome game once you get the hang of it. Fun to play with your friends. I would recommend this game to all serious FPS gamers.
