Pretty fun, lots of content, definitely better with friends.

Definitely has an excellent combat flow and the demon stomping is delightfully violent as usual.

Another excellent entry in the franchise. I've been hunting since Freedom Unite, so it has also been exciting to have another PC port and see so many people getting into the game. The content is a bit easy to breeze through currently, definitely looking forward to the expansion and master rank content. The new monsters are fun and interesting to fight, and I like the return to the more stylized art of past games combined with the more elaborate animations and movements that World introduced.

The only issue I really have is that the mouse + keyboard controls are incredibly clunky and hard to customize, whereas the Monster Hunter World M + KB controls felt decent to me and only required a couple of tweaks. I had to buy a controller (something I've resisted doing for a long time as a primarily PC gamer) to feel like I was playing properly.

I was a little skeptical about playing Monster Hunter with a mouse and keyboard, having played it quite a bit on console in previous generations, but the game adapts surprisingly well, and it is pretty. Other than the rare graphics card crash, I haven't had an issues with it.

After all these years, still one of my favorite games. Keep coming back to it. If the community was just a bit less...derpy...
