No character customisation, they want you to look ♥♥♥♥. New players get owned by old player that camp you PVP is not fun. This game would be fun if it allowed PVE with all rewards and a better character customisation.

As a long-time fan of the Age of Wonders series, I found Age of Wonders 4 a delightful return to the roots of the franchise, closely resembling the charm and depth of the first two games. The developers have masterfully blended the classic gameplay elements that we loved from Age of Wonders 1 and 2, with innovative new features that enhance the experience. The strategic depth, detailed world-building, and immersive storyline are all top-notch.

One standout feature is the return of terraforming, where an ice wizard, for example, can change the land to snow, reducing resource yields but offering bonuses to those who thrive in snowy terrain—just like in the originals.

However, one downside is the new race trait system, which allows traits to be applied to any race, somewhat diminishing the immersion of traditional race-specific strengths, like elves excelling in forests and with ranged attacks.

Despite this, Age of Wonders 4 offers a fantastic mix of nostalgia and modernity that will captivate both veterans and newcomers to the series.

I think this is the best successor to L4D series. Cool class types. Better the B4B card system that is just pointless as it only goes to 15 cards which you surpass instantly. This can be played in first person or third person.

Wanted to see all the improvements, trailer etc looked good and greeks added.

However if you want to play this multiplayer, its unplayable with no simultaneous turns. No one should have to sit there for ages waiting in this current year of Total War. Massive step back for multiplayer in Total War series.

Really good fun, very few games with the ability to command small squads of AI. Fills a niche.

It's fun at the start. However Tribesmen become a annoyance rather than a help. You can only control 1 at a time and deploy 1 to party with you. So if a Tribesmen gets kidnapped and you 2 go save the extra 1. Once she/he is free they just stand there because they can't also be controlled or deployed or even sent to nearest bonfire(base). So they get kidnapped again.

Same problems moving a base which you will have to do. You can't tell them to move to another bonfire (base) when you found a better setup for better resources. You have to hold hands with each of them to move them all. Is boring babysitting work. They need to work on their general AI.

Gameplay wise best game out there. I love the pawn system just like the first one and how they learn and get better at everything in game. Such as area searching, finding monster weakness and acting better in combat over time. Make it feel like they have personality. Great combat. I'll be playing this for a while.

The microstransactions do nothing to effect the overall experience. Other than the tent is lighter than others. So why they are even there not sure, pointless. So can't really say it's a negative if you don't need them.

Best looter shooter.

Awesome game along the lines of Dragon Age when in comes to story, except you can play with friends as bonus. Then there is the whole DnD rule set which is fun as I've never had a group to even try it.

Great RPG it's taking me ages to finish due to wanting to try out different race/build combos and different branching story lines.

Cash grab. Bottle necks everywhere.
