2$ Summer sale? Buy this... Its better then a coffee, and once you get into the Shalebridge Cradle? You won't need coffee, you will never sleep again.
Being a cult fan of the first two, this is the last of the true Thief games for me, I refuse to touch the new game. If you dig being a ninja, don't mind getting your hands dirty, love having no rules, can't go wrong with Deadly Shadows!
The story itself is just as dark, creepy and eerie as the first two games, just now with the, rather tiny, but still awesome, open cityscape, you feel even more like an actual thief. Very engrossing, very immersive, very recommended.

Taffing Pagans, they remind me of hippies.

Warning: This game WILL make you racist. Stay away from this like the plague. When the dev's admit that there are more then 30% hackers and aimbotters in the game, you know something is wrong, I used to play this like crack when it started, under Sony Online Entertainment, absolutely loved it, everything improved over PS1. Factions are unique, lots of armor and helmet customization, huge fights. Now? Ever since Daybreak took over? The NA servers are overpopulated with asians, and much like Conan Exiles, they are destroying the game. I'll give it that most of them are not hackers or aimbotters, but because of the client side ping system, the asian players have a huge ping advantage. This is not their fault, this is the fault of Daybreak. When you file a report on an obvious aimbotter, it shows how many reports are currently being investigated, I have yet to see it at less then 1000 reports pending. A lot of the new "content" is game braking, outright rediculous and forcing people into boring grindfests that remove any tactical value of the game and toss it out the window. As with other negative review statements, a huge waste of potential. Try it out at your own risk. What once was an excellent game, is now just being milked for money and left on the wayside.

Want to kill hours on end, never letting your eyes off the screen? Think Gears of War, meets a turn based style, like Fallout 2, with lots of time spend roaming around your base, biting your nails, waiting for that research to be done. My favorite Xcom has always been Apocalypse, until I found a hardcopy of this in a bargain bin, best purchase to date! If you enjoyed the original Xcom games, do try Enemy Unknown! The team behind it did a possitively amazing job letting it retain the Xcom feel, but with fantastic new locales and amazing visuals, like the third person kill cams, shot cams, sprint cams, all the wicked little camera angles for each slug you trade with the Alien menace. After playing it, even trying to find flaws, I found only one that drives me a bit nuts at times, the shot accuracy rating, be warned the Aliens often have rediculous accuracy, it can make certain early missions a bit one sided if you slip up for even a single turn. This, however, is also reminiscent of UFO defense. Get this game! Its worth the cash.

A bizzare side note, I kept wondering about one of the female Soldier voices, my one sniper chick sounded way too familiar, then I learnt why, Kimberly Brooks does one of the female soldier voices, also known as Ashley Williams from the Mass Effect series. With a voice cast like this? You'll find yourself cheering your soldiers on and caring about them even more.

Simple, straight forward... An Arena shooter, not for the feint of heart. A little fake in the weapons physics department, but when you bear down on hundreds of exploding baddies with dust and debris flying everywhere with a really big minigun, minus any puns. Who cares! This game is not about big choices and fancy characters and some sappy story, its all about, wearing a Teashirt, sporting some funky shades, and shooting stuff. If you want a classic style shooter thats got some simple puzzles, a straight forward story, rather unusual and interesting lore. This is your game! I don't expect much from most shooters, they always seem to lean on physics (Like that puketastic game from back in the day, Black) Fantastic environments, or just a single element of the game as a whole. SS3? Actually covers a LOT of ground, giving you incredible environs, wicked visuals, a very immersive soundtrack, and most importantly! (To me) Lots of enemies getting sprayed everywhere in lots of pieces!
