Its Final Fantasy, save now you create the main character. Even though its an MMORPG, FF14 feels more single player, with the world space being an open lobby. The primary focal point is the story, but generally has all the usual MMORPG angles covered with its side content, such as pvp, crafting/gathering, raids, dungeon diving. Might not be as intense as other games because it is a casual game, you can sit back and enjoy the show.
That side content I mentioned? Thats its own abyss of a rabbit hole. I plan on sticking with it for a good while yet/

Big metal machines that clomp around with guns, lasers, and missiles. Is there a story? Yes, there is. Anything fancy? Not really, a lot of self interpretation. Why are you here, why are you blasting these buildings, why are you fighting for these guys? Usually C bills (money) and the fact that the enemy wants to blow you up. Its fairly self immersive. Also comes with a sandbox mode where you zoom around the inner sphere (Game universe) and do whatever jobs you want. Is it an easy game? No, some missions become very rough and unforgiving.
Is it like the older MechWarrior games? Sort of, it is a newer game with far more glorious explosions and destruction and generally prettier. Beyond that? Yes, it is definitely a MechWarrior game.
This is NOT some anime mech game with anthropomorphic weeburai machines acting like humans. These machines are slow and clunky (Unless you are in a 20-30 ton scout mech) with zero magical fairy shields. Its just armor, weapons, and your own ability to pilot the machine.

The sheer speed sold me on Bright Memory, (Both Bright Memory, and Infinite.)
Move fast, or die fast, is the way the to play. I don't care for super duper graphics and flash and fancy gimmicks and neon colors flying everywhere. I care for the ability to mangle the enemy! And my word, there are plenty of ways to do that, all with some wicked speed and style. There are parts that break the normal sequence of gun and swordplay, such as sneaking around with a cleaver and no powers, to roaring along with some crazy super car. These bits might annoy some, but they don't eat up the game, its not a focus point. The game's pace is very well done.
It's not a very long game, does have a bit of replay value. Sounds and tunes are excellent. Story? I get the feeling we have yet to see whats really going on.
Looking forward to more Bright Memory.

Short and simple, do not go in expecting much and you might be surprised. I got this on sale, played through twice. It's short, very short, but satisfying enough. I don't think a complex story of any kind was first and foremost, get ready to be confused. Impressions? To sum it up? Borderlands meets FarCry 3, with a bit of Dishonored. Loved how smoothly the combat flowed, string your abilities out? Or blast everything at once and see what happens?

While some might say, this is just redone SS3. It is not. What many forget, by being spoiled by the modern trend of flash and trash, gimmicks and mechanics and pretty colors, SS4 IS Serious Sam. Yes, it has new stuff, yes, it feels a bit off compared to SS3. What does it feel like? It feels like freaking Serious Sam! Shred, destroy, obliterate, by spending untold amounts of ammunition, to mow down anything from small mobs, to veritable hordes of enemies. When it comes to the story and characters, do not go in expecting much, SS is about expending mass quantities of ammo, not elaborate plots and grand emotions and huge story. There is some meme worthy moments, with stuff being a lot more fleshed out then before. I am happy Croteam has stuck with the classic, core, Serious Sam experience. Some of the new stuff, is sort of "meh" for me, but overall? Very worth it.

Early Access Review
Got this for free a long time ago from a friend, didn't think much of it.
Now? I haven't been this surprised by sheer improvement and content expansion in a long time.
To liken it unto another game, I suppose light years better looking minecraft, with zombies, dungeons, phat lewtz, make up your own story (There actually is no story), playstyle is how you want it, would suffice. I personally prefer this for survival and combat, over fallout 4. Use your ears and eyes in this game, check those corners, don't rush, and you can make it without dying. It is easy, and it is hard. It is customizable. Play how you want, don't care for crafting? You are not forced to. Want to run around guns blazing? If you got all that extra ammo? Go for it. I got bored once, had about a 1000 rounds and an M60 and decided that house over there needed better airflow. I swiss cheesed that place and watched it collapse and kill all the zombies inside. One of the few games out there that let you play your way. Is it worth the money? Yes. Not sure? Have a look at it anyway.

Made old copy paste murder hobo into an anime waifu.
Sour puss personality.
Find her in story mode.
She has no chill and is savage af.
Days pass.
Hunts me down in hallway, in a strangely shy manner, wants to smash...
Deny.
"So when you want it, its fine, but when I want it, I can just go ♥♥♥♥ myself?"
Fall in love with 3D waifu.

Koikatsu party what have you done to me!!!

I love this game.

Fantastic.
There is a reason for the price tag. I have no regrets for the cost, compared to what I got in return.
I am not super big into the Visual Novel genre, but I do like stories, so Muv Luv has been on my radar for some time. I am most certainly not disappointed. This was, as creators write, a roller coaster ride of feels. It does start packed with anime tropes, but as it goes on, things get deep, very deep. Even if the story seems, for some, to follow anime tropes, it does so in a truly fantastic way.
Be warned, it is not a short read compared to basic VN's, but is forgiving in its allowing you to save at nearly any point.
From my perspective? This is a work of art. If you are curious? Do dive in head first. I for one, am glad I did.
I should also add, the background music is excellent, certain tracks at certain moments really got to me, setting an incredible mood. While the protagonist may not have a voice, all other characters do. The girl that lends her voice to Meiya? *George Takai voice* Oooooh My...

An improvement over the first two steam titles, but its also ported for bigger power then handheld systems, as well.
Very fast, very aggressive, fairly easy to learn. It is both solo and coop, you can make some pretty game breaking setups for your gear, but the sheer amount of spec setups and gimmicks, tidbits to add to your playstyle? Makes GE3 very personal preference friendly, something you don't see in a lot of other gear and spec building games. Sure, there are metaspecs and netlistard setups, but they aren't neccessary to be good at the game. Be warned, it is NOT a slow game, the combat is very fast, very twitch reflex. If you are good at Platinum games? You will find GE3 fairly easy.
The basic gist of God Eater 3, is simple. Best Anime of 2019. Yes, it was released 2018, but its play year was 2019 and still ongoing. Its still pretty anime tropey, but no where near as bad as the earlier titles. The world of Northern Europe in the God Eater world, is pretty fantastic, they fleshed out a lot of the universe. Think an Anime, but where one of the main characters, is the persona you create for it. Supported by a pretty likable cast of characters. Just be warned, its fanservice heavy. Jiggle physics, sideboob, lots of leg, and your own personal loli, that every faction in the game is trying to steal.
Another sale point? No DLC's that you have to pay for, all updates and new content are free.

I am the God Emperor of this island! What is this nutting heresy I keep hearing about?
For such a tiny team, one girl/girl (Guy In Real Life) VERY impressive work. The anime character archtypes are fantastic. If you want lewds? You haz lewds... No lewds? Don't need em'! Though incomplete, whats available is still pretty solid. Some minor issues, clicking stuff, doing stuff, some things lack a little clarity, but nothing actually annoying, let alone game breaking. Which in itself is already impressive.
Story? Uh........ Once my brain stops melting out from my ears... Getting DDLC vibes here.
Do NOT expect something insanely deep or mesmerizing. Its pretty simple and straight forward. A pleasant island, multi environment, walk/run/ride about, romp. Very relaxing, strangely. Decent enough things to do so as not to be hollow.
If you want something to entertain for free? Can't go wrong. Just one big part... Its lewd, VERY lewd.
