I'm not big on super detailed descriptions, so I'm going to keep this short and sweet, Cause simple is always the best policy.

In my opinion Stellaris, is an amazing game. I love the game, it’s got a lot of things I like in a game: empire building and management, army building and customization, and big maps to extend your empire across.
The space battles are impressive in my opinion, especially in late game when you have massive fleets beating the tar out of each other. Empire management is fun but not too overwhelming at times, unless you play like me and have 20 or so core sector systems under you control, cause I'm a monster. As well as a moding community that puts out a lot of pretty good stuff.

My only problem with the game is that the AI seems to cheat a bit, and when I say a bit I mean a lot. They can always see everything on the map (which is the first time I have every noticed it this much in an RTS, I know, I'm blind or something), but that’s not that big of a deal. The thing I can't stand is that the AI disregards the limitation the player is put under, Fleet Capacity and Core Sector Systems, and gets boosts to their economy. Which can quickly screw you over in the early game...and mid game sometimes. The game forces you to focus on Military, only way to survive the early game.
Then there is the End Game Crisis, the killer of all good games, very strong (sometimes OP in my opinion), but if you have a good enough game and plan well, manageable.

Other than that, the rest of the game is great, difficult at time and very, very......very frustrating. But, still a fun game to figure out and come up with new ideas on how to deal with what the next game will throw at you.
