If you grew up with the original Half Life, you will love this High Definition revamp. It's very much a tip of the hat to Gordon Freeman and everyone at Valve. If you have never played the original then prepare to be blown away.
The current format lets you start from a particular chapter and that can be handy as I've been enjoying trying to unlock the various player achievements.
Excellent first person shooter with plenty of thought provoking levels and many hours of enjoyable game time.

A friend introduced me to this game and I love the old school simplicity coupled with the intensity. I would definitely recommend starting on the easy level until you get a grip on the game. There is no saving and going back to replay a bad situation, you're stuck with whatever decision you make. Very enjoyable!!!

Great first person shooter. This version has the added expansion packs so plenty of gaming time.
Only downside is that it can be a bit repetitive but I still find myself coming back to it.
Highly recommended.
