Normally I'm not fond of rougelite games but Hades manages to remove every gripe I have with them. The story is top notch with a colorful cast of characters who are accurate to the greek gods and heroes of old, while also taking them in a respectable spin with how they cope in the afterlife. There's a fighting style for everyone and no wrong way to climb. Each defeat never feels like a setback and you're always gaining something from each attempt.

The art style is gorgeous, the music quite the headbanger, and its one of the few games I have completed to 100%. Its a game I can see near endless replay value. If youve been on the fence about this game due to hesitancy of being "good", stop. I'm not toog reat at the game and can even almost beat a lvl 32 climb difficulty!

If you're in it just for the good story, they have a checkbox you can mark to make it much easier to play too. So lore junkies can simply get past the hurdle if something impedes your wish to press on.
