This game is great, the politics from the publisher are not. I have enjoyed the hell out of this game and will continue to enjoy playing it. Hopefully Sony will learn from this weeks experience and I truly hope that the onslaught of negative reviews will be corrected to judge the game for it's quality.

After continuing to play Helldivers II I'm happy to say that I still enjoy it. The Verhoeven story drips with a galactic fascistic sarcasm that winks at you from the intro cinematic to the Helldivers shouting their indoctrinated rhetoric as they plow through waves of bugs and robots.

The only complaint I can think of is the grind of the replay loop to get higher end materials for unlocking later ship components. If you aren't playing with individuals who know where to look for those mats it's a bit of a slog.
