Look, it ain't the Resident Evil 4 remake, the Silent Hill 2 remake, or the Dead Space remake, but what you have here is a solid survival-horror game that excels at atmosphere.

Mechanically and technically, the game is a little janky - no getting around that. However, if you're the sort of person that enjoys slow-burn horror and horror that has a consistently creepy mood and atmosphere, you might find something to enjoy with Alone in the Dark.

It's not as polished as the new XCOMs, but Hard West is an enjoyable Turn-Based-Tactics game with an interesting setting, decent stories, and multiple bite-sized campaigns. Worth checking out for fans of the genre!
