Better with friends, because the AI sucks.

Latest update causes crashes, great job PGI.

You can't swap out the engine, you can't salvage a mech, you have to buy a broken one.

Mechs "bounce" while running, controls are janky as hell. It's worse than MechWarrior Online.

Hold E to capture something... why is this a thing, we're in a mech.

Shift+TAB toggles lock to torso, although it's not listed. Why do I use Shift+TAB? Because there's not chat function in co-op.

No character customization, you get stuck with your campaign character or a generic guy named "Commander" and an equally generic picture for career mode.

Very limited mercenary icons for your company in career mode.

The campaign is much like BattleTech's, stuck with people you don't want, picking up a crappy mercenary company from a previous deadbeat.

The game's been out over a year and this is the best they could do.

Also co-op, anyone that joins you doesn't get salvage or C-Bills.

Waiting for the modding community to update their mods to fix this crap that PGI doesn't know how to.

The last upgrade for your mothership is bugged and will not work.

Interesting game, the downside is that combat is completely RNG.

Your unit that is good vs infantry decides to attack tanks.
Your unit good vs tanks attacks infantry.

It is very possible to lose invasion due to RNG.

I thought I could murder a world leader to incite a war. Nope.
I thought I could manipulate someone into starting a war. Nope

You can't skip cut scenes or deploying of probes.
For some odd reason, your resources extractors go offline every turn.

And of course I hate RNG, the larger force can lose to a smaller one, because of what I mentioned above.

The game strays heavily from all previous Wizardry titles that made it fun and unique.

You make one character, the rest are RNG party members...

Playing it on Mega Brutal made me realize that the entire game world, you're treating billions of Donald Trump.

It's free DLC, no need to complain about it.

I had no issues installing it and running it.

Good information about the monsters and other game play tidbits, you can get information on the monsters in-game through normal play similar to how a Pokedex works.

In-game you need to have the monster to learn all of it's information, this simply by-passes that grind to look for what you want, plus supports the developers.

Unbalanced

Plenty of factions to choose from, each with their own bonuses and specialized units.

Units can level up and have different visuals than their base counterparts.

A pretty chill RTS to play.

The game runs great, and they fix it often.

I'll most likely hold off on playing it more until they release expansions/DLC for it.

Update: They aren't releasing expansions or DLC for it.
