Yes, it's quite different than the first. Less tedious building overall. A lot more storage.

Unfortunately, the infinite resource icons are a lie, as the resources will deplete eventually.

Utopia (endless mode) also has finite resources, and not a true endless experience like in the first one.

I had fun with it, and there are many endings to experience, however, due to how the resources work, I find it too time consuming to give any other endings a try.

Loading screens just to swap operations, loading screens after you select a loadout, loading screens just to refresh your barge instance, loading screens just to pee.

Their parry/dodge mechanics are unresponsive at best. Waste of a game.

Prvate lobbies are in, but you have to manually change it to private every time you start up the game.

You cannot choose who your Ai team mates are, and they are absolute ♥♥♥♥.

Fun space game (exploration and combat). the graphics are great, the options available for quality of life are awesome, ship design is fun.

You can continue to encounter hostile ships in previously explored areas, so you'll never get bored.

If you've come for this game due to it being Wizardry, it is the closest to the original as possible, but with some rather... annoying choices.

Combat takes quite some time to get through, even after the fast combat update. You have to know everything there is to know about the monsters you are fighting against to enable the fast combat.

Combat summary takes longer than it should to get through before you can continue to adventure.

I've had entire groups of monsters flee after surprising me, wasting time completely for a dungeon crawler.

I have not run into any major bugs, just annoyances with the slow combat speed and combat summary, and the fleeing of monsters.

On the plus side, the animations are nice, the dungeon looks great, and easter eggs of party wipes (if you've played the old school versions before you'll see what I mean). plenty of customization options for your playing experience, including the removal of aging by resting in an inn.

Although the game is fun, I can't recommend it due to how it is implemented.

In particular, when enemies travel too far, they become invincible to damage while dealing damage.

If they wander too far, by either their mechanics or they follow you and the game deems it "too far", the health bar will completely reset, most annoying when it's a boss.

At certain angles, when you're riding your vampire horse and use it's jump ability, it can actullay do a 180 and go back to where you're getting away from.

The music is set at such a low level, you have to turn down the other volune sliders and crank up your speakers.

Music Box, the above issues are with this as well, however, it will fade out halfway through a track, completely defeating the purpose of even making the thing to begin with.

I'm a bit mixed with this one, yes... the aesthetics are awesome, but I'm not a fan of what they did to Bloody Tears and Simon's Theme.

Especially since the music can fade out half way through the tracks, and you need to crank up the volume in order to hear it anyway.

Fun game with a friend.

Does pretty well at giving an eerie feeling in all of the maps.

Fun game despite the bugs, none of which are game breaking.

The game is very RNG heavy, though. Crafting, luckily, is not RNG.

Farm, mine, hunt and craft your way in this survival/tower defense game.

They've fixed numerous things and the game seems a lot more stable now.

They update the game often enough, upsetting the people that only like one weapon with nerfs, which is hilarious.

Automotons seem to have been nerfed rather heavily, making head shots on the heavier robots way more effective.

Too many children play this game.

Maps are repetitive despite there being dozens of different planets.

Sometimes you get special unlocks for use against the enemies, which is nice.

They do expand on it for in-game currency which you can bypass for cash if you also want to support the devs.

I don't see the hate for this faction/race. They do Dwarven things and enslave greenskins, what more could you want?
