I don't get the hype.

First, there are obvious technical difficulties. The game takes ages to even start, yesterday I've waited 5 hours to join the server. What I find funny though is that devs made paid early access with some premium in-game content which you can redeem. Now, someone who played early access would probably redeem it. Then imagine that someone wants his friends to join them. But the server's population is full and doesn't allow new characters to be created. So now you have paying customer unable to play with his friends and/or with the content he paid for. Because once redeemed content cannot be moved to other server. Lol.

Second, I don't like asian-styled digital content. Sorry, but I don't like anime, manga, K-pop or asian games. It just doesn't interest me. But I wanted to give this a chance, maybe it has really good mechanics I thought. It should be good because everyone is hyping it, right? No. But I'll get to that later. What I find weird in this game(I don't know if all asian games do this kind of thing) is that you don't really have a armor. You are not naked obviously. But all the items you drop are items that you already have, just a bit better. So all in all you basically create your character, pick your visuals and then stick with it till the end of the game. The equipment you drop only changes colors of your items, not the appearence. I really hoped that I can somehow go around the visuals that this kind of game has. That I might be able to find some armor that actually looks like an armor. And weapons! Yeah you can't change them. You are born with a specific weapon in your hand and that weapon won't change ever. I don't get it. I thought in MMO you are supposed to customize your character, make it unique. But in this game everyone looks the same(there are like 4 variants of outfits for each character when you make it and I guess there is plenty in premium store). Not mentioning that it looks really weird having girl characters run around demonic lairs with tiny shorts and basically a bra. Ugh.

Now the part that definitelly made me leave the game after 13 hours of queues and 6 hours of gameplay - the difficulty. I was expencting clearing swarms of enemies on each map, dying over and over again trying to finish quests and dungeons. Nope. I only did first two regions and a handful of dungeons(every on "hard" difficulty), but in general you basically one-shot everything. And there is like 5 mobs on each screen, so you are not really pushing through hordes, It's just some enemies sprinkled around the map, they are NOT hostile before you attack them and you can kill them with one spellcast. WAT. Dungeons are laughable, I did a few on "hard" difficulty with a friend and we didn't die even once. This game is just so boring. It has cool visual effects for spells, but that's it. That's the hype. Quests are like "go one screen to the right, click that giant box and get back". You can do all quests while running from start of the map to the end. And while doing that you can play some proper ARPG on the other screen. Like Torchlight 2. Or Grim Dawn.

It's just an overrated sub-average game. Technical problems are tip of an iceberg.

EDIT: Oh I forgot to mention that the introduction to the game's mechanics is great. Cudos to them. It's slow, they don't just throw everything at you.
