I don't get the hype.

First, there are obvious technical difficulties. The game takes ages to even start, yesterday I've waited 5 hours to join the server. What I find funny though is that devs made paid early access with some premium in-game content which you can redeem. Now, someone who played early access would probably redeem it. Then imagine that someone wants his friends to join them. But the server's population is full and doesn't allow new characters to be created. So now you have paying customer unable to play with his friends and/or with the content he paid for. Because once redeemed content cannot be moved to other server. Lol.

Second, I don't like asian-styled digital content. Sorry, but I don't like anime, manga, K-pop or asian games. It just doesn't interest me. But I wanted to give this a chance, maybe it has really good mechanics I thought. It should be good because everyone is hyping it, right? No. But I'll get to that later. What I find weird in this game(I don't know if all asian games do this kind of thing) is that you don't really have a armor. You are not naked obviously. But all the items you drop are items that you already have, just a bit better. So all in all you basically create your character, pick your visuals and then stick with it till the end of the game. The equipment you drop only changes colors of your items, not the appearence. I really hoped that I can somehow go around the visuals that this kind of game has. That I might be able to find some armor that actually looks like an armor. And weapons! Yeah you can't change them. You are born with a specific weapon in your hand and that weapon won't change ever. I don't get it. I thought in MMO you are supposed to customize your character, make it unique. But in this game everyone looks the same(there are like 4 variants of outfits for each character when you make it and I guess there is plenty in premium store). Not mentioning that it looks really weird having girl characters run around demonic lairs with tiny shorts and basically a bra. Ugh.

Now the part that definitelly made me leave the game after 13 hours of queues and 6 hours of gameplay - the difficulty. I was expencting clearing swarms of enemies on each map, dying over and over again trying to finish quests and dungeons. Nope. I only did first two regions and a handful of dungeons(every on "hard" difficulty), but in general you basically one-shot everything. And there is like 5 mobs on each screen, so you are not really pushing through hordes, It's just some enemies sprinkled around the map, they are NOT hostile before you attack them and you can kill them with one spellcast. WAT. Dungeons are laughable, I did a few on "hard" difficulty with a friend and we didn't die even once. This game is just so boring. It has cool visual effects for spells, but that's it. That's the hype. Quests are like "go one screen to the right, click that giant box and get back". You can do all quests while running from start of the map to the end. And while doing that you can play some proper ARPG on the other screen. Like Torchlight 2. Or Grim Dawn.

It's just an overrated sub-average game. Technical problems are tip of an iceberg.

EDIT: Oh I forgot to mention that the introduction to the game's mechanics is great. Cudos to them. It's slow, they don't just throw everything at you.

This game is meant to be played with friends, but the price point is ridiculous. 30€ would be much more reasonable.

Kinda like SS13, Space Engineers and Factorio in one game. For those who love to build and tweak complex systems.

Game gets a lot of updates from devs. If you like aforementioned games, definitely worth the price.

Can't recommend for now. Game costs 40€ while not providing any tutorial or campaign or at least multiplayer. It's basically a sandbox RTS where difficulty means slower gameplay, not necessarily tougher.

Sometimes it's harder to determine what direction building will face when placed. It's annoying when you want to build pretty wind turbine array and you don't know where the cable inputs will be.

Also, domes are a bit weird. Every dome is like a separated unit without any interaction. So in the end, where you had to apply clever design and deal with congestion in games like Cities: Skylines, you don't have to do almost anything here. If I could specify dome templates to place dome with buildings in one click, I would have basically all interactions with colonists done.

Certainly is not worth the price for the moment. Wanna build? Cities:Skylines. Wanna survival? Rimworld.

It is kinda fun and it has some good ideas, but I feel I will hit 10 hrs and then never play the game again.

Great game especially in coop modes. Just keep in mind there are a lot of bugs that are not going to be ever repaired.

Bug examples:
- Glitchy loading custom maps from workshop. Sometimes game just won't allow you to join server because "Your map differs from server" even though they are not.
- A lot of various UI bugs.
- Sometimes maps don't load properly and you have to restart whole game.
- Doubtful explosion physics. Once you are a few steps from C4 and don't die, once you are behind two walls and about 20m away and die.
- Bots are dumb and OP. They can shot you with shotgun from 50m with one hit or they can ignore you completely and just walk next to you like nothing happened.
- You can teamkill when your squadmate stands too close to your back. Bullet origin is in in your shoulder or what...

Your Own is just funny way to milk customers and get money for MMO development(and eventually earn more money).

This game isn't done and yet, they plan to release it this week! There are some interesting ideas but for what price?

Your Own has very basic guild system, trading posts and sawmill doesn't work. Tunneling is bugged, causing lags and performance issues(they have promised to fix this a long time ago). Map is ridiculously small. Maybe you have 3km^2 for whole map, but the island is just about 60% of it's actual size.

With every patch comes a lot of new issues. Like DX11 release, where you face peels of your head, you see wooden texture on leaves and FPS drops to 5 from stable 30 on previous(DX9) version. So I won't be able to play from now.

I've had the most populated server in Czech republic(next to Germany) and there were so many issues with it. Server log is absolutely useless. And server log file for one day has more than 300MB! Also you have nearly no usefull GM commands. You cannot kill or teleport player, see others inventory or just send global message without remote console access. No PVP events since there are death punishments that can't be turned off. Devs promised modular buildings but still nothing. And the list goes on.

If you want to play something from medieval ages, try Reign of Kings, Out of the Reach or Medieval Engineers.
