For me, Tasomachi was originally just a comfy 1-2 afternoon 3D platformer with plenty to collect and explore. Taking the time after initially beating the game to really delve into the interactions between each unlockable abilities and all the different mechanics in the game truly made me feel more joy and satisfaction with movement than most other games that I've played.

I will mention that the bunny hopping plus there being no speed cap has some impact on this, whether those were intentional or not, but I think it adds to the experience for the better. Even without using them the game and it's movement can be enjoyed fully. The pure sense of place to place movement is incredible and something I haven't really experienced from any other 2D or 3D platformer.

Music and atmosphere are really special as well, where I think the game shines the most as a piece of art. Very interesting worlds to wander around and the music is a pure vibe. Also, knocking over the cat people is an underrated feature no one seems to mention about this game.
