Quite a nice RPG, you can totaly see Ghibli's work in it, especially via animation, as opposed to the second opus, less popular and with a different gameplay.

Quite fun to be the evil creature escaping from a lab!

My first Final Fantasy and one of the best!

Objectively the best Final Fantasy ever released in my opinion.

Evidently you have to have a mindset of a gamer playing a 1990's isometric 3D game to enjoy it at its fullest, and not craping on the game because of its graphics. But the story, musics, charachters, the steampunk ambiance are very well made.

Short but really well made!

It's been a long run since the game have been in alpha stage, but I do really enjoyed it from the beginning.
The devs managed to mix different games features together, blending them into a pretty neat open-world RPG with a lot of charisma and potential.

Still, the new big update, Seamless World, needs a bit of polishing (as you may see a lot of people complaining here), and I hope to see the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ release of the game as soon as possible!

PS : the craft system was quite impressive if you like a RNG-based kind of thing, and there's was plenty of things to farm/create/tame...

EDIT : But they just ducked it up, IT WAS THE CORE OF THE GAME... Now you just have to bash the same boss over and over to get the enchant scolls you want, and enchant the item you want the easy way. It's quite boring and redundant. Before that the craft system was way more deep and interesting. And the map system wasn't that bad. Il also miss Hell and explosive cows.
I don't mind them falling into the pitfall of "open world fashion" but why did the devs change the game completly???

So, I'm not gonna ever play again Craftopia sadly, or maybe on the old version, if it's still available after release

Yeah it could be fun, but need a team of 10 players. I wish I could just put a "meh" evaluation, it would be more accurate.

pro : the community is mostly nice.

con : tons of; A skeleton team of what it was, who doesn't have the skill to maintain the game healty, it's barely alive, only feeding on few whales.

Unless it's your first MMO ever, or video game ever, don't waste your time
