This is an excellent puzzle platformer with a bit of light combat thrown in.
The story is told in short failtale verses and the occasional simple cutscenes between levels.
The controls handle nicely and are fairly easy to pick up as the game does a good job of introducing each skill as the player unlocks them through defeating monsters and gathering collectables.
Multiplayer is also handled wonderfully and is supported in both online and local for up to 3 players, with the option of each player either sharing the 3 heros or having their own set of heros to switch between freely.
However, by far the most impressive part of this game is the presentation of the levels. Each level (or chapter) of the game is absolutely beautiful, every part of the environment feels completely organic and looks as if it was pulled right out of a fairytale. Each level is also packed with multiple puzzles, many of which are obstacles needed to be solved in order to advance while others are simply to hide experiance items and unlockables.

The difficulty isn't too hard for the most part, but some of the puzzles can take a bit of luck to work properly, while others can be solved in a multitude of ways. This can be made easier depending on which of the heros is leveled up an which of their skills are unlocked first.

The Wizard mainly for creating boxes and platforms, moving heavy objects and solving puzzles.
The Knight is primarily for combat and protecting the others from either enemies or environmental hazards.
The Theif is easily the most mobile and focused on platforming with her grappling hook, but can also assist in combat with her bow.

If you're even slightly interested in platformers I would highly recommend this game.
My only suggestion is that while the mouse and keyboard controls work well enough, I would recommend using a controller to play as the game felt more natural to be played with one and thus was much more enjoyable once I plugged it in.
