One of the best games that I've played.

My recommendations to the game developers:
-I feel this game needs an open class system or some way to add more abilities. This could be as simple as one big spell for each open class like beast taming on a hunter for example. I don't know where you would put these abilities on a controller other than maybe holding L1 or R1 then pressing other buttons.

-I also feel that stats need a rework to allow varied and hybrid builds rather than needing to max only one or two stats and only have like only strength weapons as an example. This could be as simple as strengthening and varying the stat node bonuses in a more emphasized, open and creative way. Changing scaling to be somewhat, if not fully open ended in the weapon itself could help too, especially expanding upon things like gems and crafting equipment. I think this is my best advice here.

-Also weapons should count towards equip burden, it looks weird seeing max armor with 2 great weapons for most strength players. This would need a deeper stat rework. This would be that stats should count towards character mechanics, not just damage. Like strength adding max equip burden, or agility increasing mobility or swing speed. Of course a lot of re-balancing would be needed for this change, but this would improve build immersion a lot.

-Lastly, stealth on a dagger, arcane on a wand or zombies on a reaper/scythe would be cool. I know the greataxe already has a "reaper tree" but a scythe would be a perfect focus weapon.
