Former founder of this game, played from the tech alpha back in 2016 or so. Bought most of the high tier packs back then. Was addicted to this game up until 2020, quit for a few years, came back just before this update to see if it improved, kept getting told the awakening update would "save" the game. Now they've stripped almost everything that made dauntless unique or fun at all. What's left is a mobile game hot garbage tier grind for practically everything. Had a bunch of weapons crafted? Sorry go sit on a fat one, we stripped out everything in favor of 2-3 for each type, you're cucked to the 4 base types added originally at the start, unlocking repeaters, chain blades, and strikers with quests or just buying them directly from the cash shop, which is also the only way to acquire weapons now period past that. if you want the frost axe instead of the starting one, you gotta grind out tokens that'll take forever or cost real world money for a single weapon. It's awful. Don't play this, wait for monhun wilds, play monhun rise or world or if your pc can run it even play wild hearts. Phoenix Labs shame on you for ruining such a previously fun game with this greed.

in the 3 hours I played this, I've played maybe at most half an hour to 45 minutes of it, the rest of the time has just been tech problems and bugs out the wazoo between multiple Crash to Desktops occuring or the game randomly deciding I'm cheating even though I have nothing running in the background besides this, steam, and discord. The only saving grace is WB being so desperate to sell this they're selling the hundo dollar version for a mere 5$, I'll keep it to maybe one day hopefully be able to enjoy this piece of garbage bug free but that won't be for atleast a few years time from now.

Played the original a decade ago and had a blast with it even then. Who knew we just needed some outdated memes to spice up how bland this year has been for gaming even with the 1 or 2 half decent releases. would say it's worth it whether on sale or full price.

Honestly for a 5$ game about fishing with some extra cosmetics involved this game is way too addicting, I lost track of my time playing this solo and before I knew it I already hit 7 hours. Literally had no idea this existed until it popped up yesterday on my steam front page. Can't recommend this enough, especially if you like casual and cozier games like animal crossing.

Probably the most fun fps I've played in awhile. Started in the second week last season after kinda blowing over the game initially since I didn't think I'd like it. Personally I really only like Power Shift because of the larger direct one team vs another aspect. Terminal Attack blows chunks and is honestly the worst thing to come to the game but I guess all the drooling mouthbreathers that wanted it who play other games with search and destroy needed something too. Overall season 3 is hit or miss for some people, I've been enjoying the new weapons but the decision of removing ranked cashout for arguably the worst mode in the game was an odd choice on the dev's part, especially since WT's matchmaking is absolute garbage. Honestly even with all the issues I have with the game it's been an addiction grinding out the challenge, which some feel like pulling teeth with how bad they are to grind for, while also offering a lot of cool ass stuff in the shop you can either buy in a bundle or seperately incase you only want an emote or specific outfit/weapon skin. I also don't know how the heck I already hit over a hundo hours but for a free game that's impressive even these days. Definitely would say to give it a try, at worst you'll have wasted bandwidth, time, and energy downloading and playing the game if you end up not liking it.

Fun game I beat a few times, endless mode is kinda fun too. For the price you get a decent enough game where for once it's not another generic slow as molasses backgrooms game. All in all hope the game gets more updates eventually.

I haven't played many of the games in the series overall. I really only ever 100% 2 on 360 as a teenager. Played a bit of Syndicate when I got it on sale awhile ago but kinda lost interest so I dropped it before finishing up the main story. I launched odyssey once to get access to 3 but honestly just didn't like the characters in that one so dropped it too, Playing through this one all the way through main story + both dlcs I like it overall. Sure the RPG aspects and stealth stuff felt more optional then the last ones but I actually though the combat was a little refreshing instead of just "hit one button to parry" the game. I enjoyed all the choices I had with weaponry and tools at my disposal. Only real gripe I had was that some part of the game were a bit grindy, requiring side quest/hidden quests to keep up with level and gear upgrades. I really like Bayek as an MC and wish he got more notice outside of this game because the story between him and Aya is both good and also bittersweet af. I plan on playing through Odyssey next then Valhalla after. I'll get Mirage eventually when it pops on steam with a fat enough discount so I feel less bad about giving Ubisoft some pocket change.

Only got to experience the tail end of gigantic on steam back then but I was heavy into it before that having the only pc with windows 10 in my friends group at the time. Enjoyed the hell out of it and missed it dearly after it was shut down back then. With the Rampage Edition you'll get everything the base game had back then along with some new content in the forms of a new map and 2 additional heroes. Granted you have to earn all the cosmetics including heroes, skins, titles, portraits, etc but most if not all of it is pretty easy to earn, you just play the game and get to that point. Aside from launch week woes which tbh I kinda saw coming because I knew a lot of people were hype it's a pretty solid game regardless. Considering the mtx hell modern games are, this is definitely one I'd highly recommend, regardless of bias or not, for how much you get for the price. If you're unsure because of the stability and bugs then feel free to hold off, otherwise jump right in.

Backed this game way back on kickstarter hoping just for a fun online version of pokemon, what I got instead was just a hollow, microtransactioned cash grab that did everything in its power to push you away from playing and sucked out the fun in the process. I'm not even upset about the content being cut off eventually, I'm an old school MMO player from the late 90s/early 00s era of pc games, what I'm upset is that the so called "content" we did end up getting later was just in the form of FOMO garbage and pretty much everything new cosmetic wise being locked into the cash shop. Had I known Crema would be as greedy as it was, I would have never backed this in the first place. Also shame on the devs for more or less abandoning this game to release a garbage vampire survivor clones and tout it as a brand new game, we can all see you're just trying to recoup costs for all the negative press you've gotten over this game.
