I recommend this game, and here is why.

PixelJunk™ (don't forget the ™, it's important) Monsters is a Tower Defense game, with unique twists of its own. Having to base off the fact that you can only build towers depending on the layout of the course makes for varying plans to prepare for the next wave. Purchasing new special towers each mission that do not forward to the next creates choices that as a player, or two, will have to make in order to protect the Tiki-men from waves of monsters with various attributes. Not just monsters who can fly, but even monsters that are resistant to fire damage or monsters that move faster but are even more vulnerable to slows when hit.

The learning curve is well received by new and experienced players. Trial and error is less punishing until playing on the later and harder stages. WIth the addition of new towers and an island in the Ultimate mini-expansion, players who had the console version will find only a few reasons to go back to the game sadly.

It's also multiplayer enabled, I had a satisfying time playing with my friend online, Speaking of which, there is nobody playing this online. It is justifiable, a game like this should not be enjoyed with just the public, having a friend to think through every single mission makes the game not feel repetitive some of the time. Another plus is the RNG area which generate random stages based on algorithm outside the quests by inputting a 5 digit code. (like minecraft's seed)

Overall, I recommend this game but only to players who are looking forward to a Tower Defense game that plays different.

To those that had played before, please put a second thought to this. This game came out a little less than 7 years ago, but the art style is truly of this date. Mechanics are still familiar, and with new towers it might bring you back to try new techniques to overcome the same or new missions. It may just be Monsters, but it is still the one you know and love.

Also, 1080p!! (Like that matters)

When you are looking for an Action Co-op experience with 3 othe friends, look no further than Warframe.

Warframe is exceptional at what it does best, bringing a Third-Person, Action Co-op Shooter in a greatly designed space theme. This game could make or break your decision to play it any more, but you will always would give it another go, with your pals. It's lovely gorgeous art direction is one to marvel at. With constant updates and bug fixes, one would assume for the game to be officially released, but it's still in beta. Spending a bit of money on the game can go a huge way, not to mention the starting amount that can do a bit more in order to not strain the user that much in restrictions. Even so, this game is hardcore at what it's meant for the business model, a F2P game, with timer paywalls for weapon/Warframe constructions. It's not great, but to wait 3 days just so you can finally try out that cool new model you always wanted to try, it's worth the wait. Besides, you are not forced to play all day and get it. This game can be enjoyed in short bursts just for daily logins, or a 10 hour grindfest getting credits. Either way, you are always going somewhere in the game.

Pros: The game is rather huge in content. Obtaining weapons you like is certainly easier than previous versions of the game since Open Beta. Most weapons are fun and a rather few weapons from the entire arsenal of various weapons tend to feel gimmicky but does not prevent the weapon from being too inferior or infeasible. Since the Closed Beta, the count of Warframes has significantly doubled, and you will at least enjoy one Warframe which suits your playstyle, be it tank or huge dmaage output and/or damage over time. Lovely new environments has given a refresh to the old tilesets, and extra tilesets for old environments, make the game feel invigorating and meaningful whenever you usually run through them in a later stage where things get tedious. The co-op experience has been enjoyable so far. Drop in/out co-op is versatile in a sense that players can easily join without waiting (with a few exceptions) and having a sync with different Warframes (Mag's Bullet Attractor + Excalibur's Radial Javelin) makes the experience less stale, and by a huge lot.

Cons: Then again, getting the very good weapons requires a few days or even weeks worth of effort if you patiently go past the paywall timers. Clan weapons requires, well, a clan to enter, and rare resources by obtaining access to exclusive areas by, of course, grinding. The game is a huge grindfest, and getting special weapons not obtainable through the store extremely hard to find. This has been addressed but the randomness will turn a part of the gamers off. Late game content is not rewarding at all. The only late game proportion is the ridiculously overleveled planet, and that's all. You can choose to obtain all weapons and level your Mastery skills up in order to get access to weapons of higher rank, but of course you will need to grind the game just for the parts, and the cost to upgrade. Even so, there is a, and no offense, a real pathetic amount of inventory space for weapons, and you will require the game's premium currency, Platinum, to unlock.

In conclusion, this game will wear the crap out of you if you are very devoted. Special events that occur every once in a while will keep you on your toes, hoping to clear the biggest difficulty for the best payout. In the end, this game is absolutely fun, if you get past the premium. Don't mind spending 5 bucks just for customization and extra slots. you will get more fun out of this game for the first 20 or so hours.

7.5/10 *because we need 1 decimal place*

If you have Killing Floor, you most probably have played Left 4 Dead. This game excels at bringing out the Co-op elements of the Horror Survival type games and rewards players for playing as a full fledged team in six player wave based modes. And by playing as a team, I mean buy C4s at the last wave.
