Needless to say, Signalis was an instant classic as it was first sold on stores.

I believe many will like it because of its classic survival horror style and gameplay, and so many will actually not understand the story of what's going on. It's indeed okay to live this game, since not everyone is down to explore or read the hints of this story. But believe me when I say, if you are to experience its narrative, closely looking for the details, the timeline and the characters, you will absolutely not be dissapointed when investing your time on it.

Signalis is a story about love, about promises, about self awareness, about heaven and hell, about what is left to live for...
Signalis is by far, on my opinion (not disrespecting any other game or narrative, of course), the best indie game I've played in my life. I do really hope everyone gets to experience this game and have fun, be scared and cry as much as I did.

I have never resonated as much as with other games, and I'm truly grateful my lovely girlfriend was there to show me this experience.

Let me start by saying: hype has done a terrible job on this game.

Positive aspects:
+ As a huge sci-fi and space terror fan, I found the game aesthetic and story good enough for a game of this genre. Despite its lack of originality, it's cool to have new games set in this kind of restricted area where something creepy happened and you've got to escape the area fighting against horror creatures. Pretty cool graphics and performance (GPU 6700XT & CPU 5700X) proper for the new generation games.

Negative aspects:
-The gameplay is by far the worse part of the game. It is repetitive to the last part of it. You'll find yourself fighting with the same enemies over and over again and it feels really boring since there's only two mechanics: dodge and attack. Maybe you'll be wondering "aren't those the same mechanics on every single game?". Well, yes, but here you don't even have abilities or upgrades that may change the combat style.
The game feels like a constant corridor filled with the same enemies and missions. Go from point A to point B, take some batteries, go back, plug them in, access new (strongly similar) area.

Would I'd recommend this game? No, and you may find this negative aspects enough to stop yourself from buying the game. Maybe if the price went down to 20$ or so it would be kind of cool to play it, but as a AAA game, it doesn't deserve the time nor the money spent.
