As others have stated, have actual in-game, running stats, useful ones too, as in: how many combos were made of each, etc.
The post you made has quotes like: "Once again I don’t have the numbers, and I’m working from memory, so this is an approximate summary" How is this considered testing results?
Changing the difficulty means worse rewards, not to mention super easy mode - let me fall asleep. Why should I play baby mode anyways if there's a huge difference in rewards/challenge?
I don't recall the combo breaker, it's been almost 3 months now. Could just enable it by default if you know it makes the game more enjoyable? Or does it penalize you?
Thank you very much for your feedback.
We understand your frustration with the AI and are constantly working to improve it but we assure you it is not deliberately cheating. We've written about this on the discussion boards and even conducted testing in the past, as well as made code publicly available: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/app/329110/discussions/0/624076851035003406/
Additionally, have you experimented with the Difficulty settings? The "Normal" difficulty turns on the "AI Combo Breaker" which prevents the AI from getting lucky and accumulating too many extra turns as a means to reduce player frustration. Higher difficulty settings disable this and in turn gives you bonus rewards.
We would really appreciate it if you gave the game a second chance and reconsidered your review.
Thank you very much,
-Gems of War Team
