Welcome to the DLC for Grounded. The DLC so expansive it ended up becoming a sequel. It's pretty much the same with some quality of life features and some menu redesigns. Can't wait to see how this sequel evolves and expands.

I love that the park feels alive with sounds from the city around it. Dogs Barking, Police Sirens, Planes flying overhead.

Did you ask for Final Fantasy 1 to be remade as a sudo Dark Souls game? no? well you got it anyways.

These guys grunt a lot. They basically only grunt and mention Chaos.

I am enjoying this game so far.

Once again, I HAVE TO KILL CHAOS!

Im a cat. There is a meow button. I pushed it more than 100 times before the first story achievement. I can knock things of shelves. I can scratch floors and walls. I can sleep. I fell down a hole and am now lost. Why are there half life headcrabs here? I am a cat.

This is a short game. But something about simply digging a hole is just super fun. It doesn't command your attention or sweaty skill, it just is. Dig a hole, sell the rocks you fine. run from moles.

The two best PVE Co-op experiences recently have been Spreading Managed Democracy and Purging Heretics.

I love nothing more than to jet pack assault with a hammer. this is the ultimate play style for a Monster Hunter Hammer Bro.

The only downside to Space Marine 2 is limiting to 3 players, so our group has to either kick the 4th or rotate players.

It's Pokemon set in the Monster Hunter world, but better than Pokemon. I could be biased as a Monster Hunter addict. The game is hard, but not super challenging. The story was a decent 50 or so hours casually, but can be extended but going for 100% or all achievements or ya know....Catching them all to be the very best hunter, i mean rider, there ever was.

I still don't like Navirou that much though. My character can speak for themselves.

5/27/2025: Extra final complaint is about how grindy the gene system is. I have every achievement completed at this point except one. The get all genes achievement. I have about 30 genes left. I have about 100 hours on this game. I have spent at least 10 hours post game gene farming and have maybe gotten 1 or 2 i was missing. It looks like it could take another 100 hours to farm out the last 30 genes I did not get naturally. Its very demoralizing to go through 20 dens and not get a single needed gene from monsters that can still provide them. They are quite frankly, too rare.

It's Grounded, but It's not Grounded.

Quite a few things are different, but fun in their own way.

Both games are playing Honey I Shrunk the Kids, grounded more literally, whereas Smalland is playing as tiny Fae creatures whose land is under attack.
Both Games have crafting and base building. Grounded has more freedom in height and stuff.
Both games have you fighting bugs. Smalland has you also fight grasshoppers and frogs and geckos and stuff.
Smalland lets you tame the bugs and other animals and have a small army follow you.
Smalland has more vertical exploration than grounded does and also has seasons and weather/storms.
Grounded has a more colorful cartoonic artstyle, while this game is a little darker shade and closer to a more realistic style.

Both games are very similar, but distinct in their own ways.

If you enjoyed Grounded and want more of the same, you will probably enjoy this game. And if you enjoyed this game but haven't played Grounded, then what are you waiting for.

Early Launch Review:
Controller didn't work day 1. Had to restart steam before it would work. Runs okay for me with no issues so far, upgraded graphics card to 4060 right before launch to make that happen, still running i7-7700k, settings are on high, frame generation off. The story quests are way too hand holding, forcing you to stick very close to the NPC you are following and not allowing you to run off and explore or gather items, but there are plenty of between quest points and the like where you can go do this. Most of the cutscenes are not cutscenes just having you right your Seikret with the npc's to the monster with very little control of anything as they auto walk and force your view in a certain direction most of the time.

I like the focus hit system and I like my new hammer combo end option. The new monsters and gear styles are very cool. The Seikret and some things require changing menu options immediately. I like the Wudwud. The maps are beautiful and easy to get lost in. The cutomization menus for some things like layered armor and guild card titles can be hard to find and hard to remember where they are.

Good game, I think the first one of the trilogy was better. The story was still interesting, and and entertaining that Lara's Bad Terrible No Good Day continues on a quest for revenge.

This game has some play issues. I had to frequently redo spots because Lara would just miss whatever she was supposed to grab on for no reason. Also some achievements are bugged, for example getting the achieve for collecting all the Baba Yaga documents but missing the achieve for getting half of them.
