Cheap graphics, cheap gameplay. It's not as bad as one might expect, but can't really recommend it, unless you're really really craving a HOMM quickfix.

Interesting concept, not really my thing. Will give it a go again when further polished (final release).

ps: Was tempting to give it a recommendation based on the music alone, well done sound and music designers.

Larian took the highly successful formula, graphics engine and combat system from DOS, and made a Baldurs Gate themed RPG. And so far I'm loving it!

+ Amazing customization
+ Great graphics and art-dir
+ Great music and voiceover
+ Same great basic formula carried over from DOS
+ Kickass intro-movie

- The combat system seems a little messy, so far, but that might get better if i remember my playthrough of DOS correctly.

Did not play the original Mafia, so have no nostalgic feelings towards it. This is completely objective.

Mafia: Definite Edition, while not being a bad game pr se, just felt boring and lackluster to me. This is a little odd, because I usually love GTA style games (i even liked Mafia II and III). I feel the missions are, while probably trying to stay true to the original game, repetitive and non-creative. The characters are ultra stereotypical and predictable, including the main protagonist. Same goes for the story, which reads like a bad, below budget Netflix drama.

Sorry Mafia fans. Recommended at a hefty discount only.

"Residents are reporting, that the so called game 'XCOM®: Chimera Squad', isn't that bad of a game!"

- This is Celio Dash, live from the scene.

Excellent turn-based apo-rpg. Lots of choices, fairly interesting characters, good story. Surprisingly good music selection at certain points in the game. Recommended!

A rough-cut gem of a game! Yeah, it's quirky, and yeah, the story quite strange, just as one might expect of an '♥♥♥-SRPG'. The gameplay, however, is satisfying, and the overall mechanics, although clunky and bloated, revokes a sense of nostalgia anno titles from the 90's.

Recommended at its full price.

Great game so far! A few crashes here and there (4 in total) but nothing major...

My rig's 5 years old though, with a gtx 1080. Runs fine @ 1440p everything on high so i'm not sure what all the fuss is about.

Obsidian Entertainment are the unparalleled masters of this genre. Bravo.

Tyranny, while not as comprehensive or detailed as Pillars of Eternity, is absolutely worth your time if you're a fan of Iso-RPG's.

No, I can't recommend this novel game at 60 euros. I don't really care about Kojima, nor all the tripple A actors that he put into Death Stranding. Sure, all the technical, cutting edge methods and tools being used makes for some impressive visuals, but that doesn't make up for some of the most boring gameplay, ever.

The story seems pretty cool though. So if you can get it for.. 20-25 euros.. and you've got money to burn, then by all means.. give it a go.
