Only did the tutorial and one mission so far, but first thoughts are the game is decent! One bug I've noticed is maybe some controls don't change if you rebind the key. Another issue is I don't think the voice acting and gun sound design is as good as Payday 2's. Sometimes the bots seem dumb as well, and the menus are way too big and clunky, but maybe mods can fix a lot of these things

The game might be fine with friends, but if you're playing solo then I don't think the game is balanced around that. Too difficult.

It's safe to say I hulked out. Anyway, the ai mode is great, but the game crashes a lot.

*I updated my gpu driver eventually and that seems to have fixed all the crashes, but it sucks they took away mods. At least disable them for competitive, leave mods alone for the rest of the modes!

At this point in time no other dev has a good excuse as to why their game released in poor condition, when the devs for this one have been through the worst possible. The fact these devs have managed to launch their game at all is an achievement and testament to their struggles they have endurd. For that they deserve a positive review and hope, for better futures for them.

This isn't that bad of a game. Loot is nice, and the map idea of the whole US shrunk down was a great one, but solid objects you can't smash through gets in the way of the driving around. Also the graphics are hit and miss with the lighting quality a bit bland I feel. However, the user interface is very bad, I'm still having trouble figuring my way through it, and whomever decided to have races you can't simply start by clicking a play button but instead have to drive through them needs to head back to the drawing board. As well as the controls to navigate the menus are terrible, sometimes the keys let you preview around a vehicle and in other places not for some reason.

I will say this is a step below Forza Horizon, which feels much more polished than this, but getting this for a dollar is a very nice deal, and a deal not to miss!

It's very much worth it on sale, but what people don't point out is the awesome Descent roguelite mode that is pretty much worth buying the game for alone, even if you don't like those genre of games this one is actually fun.

I think it's dumb for Steam to always require certain things in order to get all the tasks completed for the Steam nominations, I can tolerate nominating games in every category but then to have to review or update a review? What about all the other reviews I've left over the years? Anyway, here's my review for this game:

This game deserves the labor of love award.

If the black screen bug after every match can stay away, then I'd totally recommend this game for 10 bucks... Preferably less, though.

This is a great game, it has so many small details in the investigation gameplay, but not sure if that's part of the pre-made map or not at the beginning. It does have some issues like objects falling through the floor and then as another reviewer said you can't fire guns, so hopefully they add in gunplay for the player.
