All this game likes to do is crash and fail to connect to ea. I have now crashed more times than I have hours played, but when I can play, the game is okayish. Definitely don't spend more than $5 on this if you must. Maybe there's mods that fix these problems, but I haven't found any yet.

I was originally going to write a positive review for this, but with some cons that might turn off a player that has no friends to play this with, however I don't feel the cons are that bad now.

There aren't any prop hunt games I've seen that have bots that function and do the objective, this game being the only one I have noticed. Now with the recently released Christmas update, the bots perform better than before making it one less con I would've listed! I still feel one con is that the bots still often pick the same areas to hide in each time. Lastly, a big con for certain maps is optimization is poor, losing at least 30fps sometimes.

I still recommend this game, especially if they're going to keep updating it, and it has solo with bots that have gotten better if you decide to play alone.

I can't believe this game isn't more well known, it's rough in some parts like crafting takes forever, but the gameplay is there and it's good! It has personality too! Although it could use more ambient sound to make the world feel a bit less empty and more variety to npc behavior.

This is the best survival game I have ever played. It's not without its faults, however, I wished they didn't stick some tough enemies in the easy zones and it's not optimized. Requiring more than 200gb of drive space for the game will keep a lot of players away.

It's not that bad of a game, but I'm not recommending it for those of you who have already played the big name pc, fps games such as Unreal Tournament and Quake. The more I play this game the more I rather be playing Unreal Tournament, because it's faster and has more readability. Readability of what you may ask? Being able to tell what gun I have in my hands does, or where exactly to be shooting the mass of polygons that are the enemies. Those alien guns and alien enemies are well, alien to me.

This game is great, I can't believe it isn't well known. It's four player co-op firefighting goodness! However, what it could use is more polish on the multiplayer, like the escape mission doors seemed to get bugged closed for non-hosts. Lastly, they really should add a procedural map for endless replayability, or a map maker of sorts.

If you have played and got bored of all the other co-op greats, then this is one of the next great co-op games out there, but try and wait for a sale. It's not worth 60, unless you really want it.

Some maps get reused and more than a couple times. The three main special infected have variants that have very little differences in their looks, which to me seems like low effort. Also, the game throws too many of them at a time, even on recruit difficulty. There is no mod support, solo progression(yet?), and the always online requirement sucks because I've been trying to make decks, but would lose connection and then get kicked out of the game, except I'm in the lobby with no other players. Then, like others have said, gun attachments need to be moved to the next gun you grab, or something, but not too big of a deal; as well that the cleaners have no personality, which isn't a major problem.

Everything else this game does is great, and with crossplay this game should last a long while even though there's no mods. The guns handle well, the progression isn't too grindy and its deck building gives it a lot more depth than the left-4-deads before it had. For me, it's still no Payday 2, though. But it's better than Overkill's Walking Dead!

I don't recommend this game for many reasons. The biggest one is all the bugs and problems it has, I just don't see how coming from one store to another can be such a big mess like this. Oh, and even though you link your microsoft account to your steam account, the game doesn't even use steam friends to invite in game. You have to download bunches of bloat apps from the microsoft store and enable xbox game bar just to invite friends into your group in the game.

I spent twelve hours last weekend to figure out why my game crashes after the first autumn race only to figure out that having the ethernet adapter disabled was the issue(and for others on the steam discussions having bluetooth disabled causes crashes too). I had it disabled because I don't have access to ethernet anyway, but apparently this game doesn't like it disabled. Nowhere on the official faq mentions this, so I guess I solved a bug that, according to google searches, has been around for three years and no one knew a fix.

Another problem that's been brought up again and again is the price and I definitely agree with them. Had I not had a hunger for a big budget triple-A racer I wouldn't have paid this horrible price for a three year old game neither, and a few times so far in the game there's unskippable videos advertising dlcs as if this is a free to play game.

Last problem is one I have only heard about when the game was locked onto the microsoft store; the devs or some body is ban-happy when it comes to some paint jobs you put on cars, unsure if this is still true nowadays.

Overall I'm having some fun, but it shouldn't be worth this price and shouldn't be this bug-filled mess with the steam discussions still trying to solve all the issues. Wait till it's cheaper and see if the devs do something about all the problems reported.

*Edit: After the series 34 update, the devs still haven't fixed stuttering or crashing issues.

This game needs a lot more work, but what's there is very playable and there's bots!
