This is a game that starts off simple, with a clunky keyboard setup that thankfully is fully rebindable (O is the button for rotating buildings) and simplistic high-visibility graphics that somehow manages to look both incredibly clean and remind you of something that came out on the Dreamcast (minus the low poly count.)

Make no mistake though, this is a tower defense puzzle game. If you implement a sub-optimal solution or get tricked into rushing something the map weren't designed for, you will be drowning in Creeper really fast, once the game stops holding your hand you will likely be brutalized and have to reload if you are as bad at this as me. It operates on the Hollow Knight side of difficulty though, so once you've restarted the map a few dozen times you will find a strategy that works. (Don't go for that early AC, it's a TRAP! Yes, it is exactly the map you think it is.)

All in all I'd definitely say this is indie game of the year, anyone that loves tower defense games or puzzle games has a fair chance of loving Creeper World 4.
