fun open world survival crafter, good building and exploration

might change the review later but so far everything has been a unnecessary convoluted mess, nothing is explained, the controls are horrible and floaty, the storage system is awful and nothing makes sense

great game if you have autism

Game is alright for early access, not too many bugs and fun synergies between skills. the music got a lot better compared to PoE1 as well. still it feels like its missing something though

despite having poor framepacing and encountering a bug here and there, this game has been an absolute blast.

there are countless of weapons and armor sets to collect and a surprisingly huge amount of quests with most having consequences as you progress trough the story. These quests are very Elden Ring-like though and vague, with most of them missable/failing after progressing too far, so if you're planning on only playing trough once like me it can help look a lot of info up on the wiki. the game is huge and after 46 hours (completionist playstyle) i still have things to do and collect.

overall a very chill and fun game. difficulty wise its probably similar to Bloodstained Ritual of the night. maybe slightly easier overall but on hard mode you can expect a good challenge in the later game areas

the dept perception, or lack of i should say is driving me absolutely insane.
now i've always disliked platforming in isometric games due to this issue but with this pixelartstyle it just becomes many times more annoying.. 9/10 times i mess up a jump is because i cannot properly see the height or depth of platforms. made even worse due to the fact that you often play on like 3 or more different heights of platforms

amazing game with tons of different types of magic to customize your playstyle, each can be leveled up further to make things overpowered but in a fun way.
gameplay felt a little stiff early on but got better and better as i progressed with new types of movement skills you unlock.
music was a hit or miss for me, some zones had very good tracks playing, others got old quickly for me

like graveyard keeper but slightly less addictive, lots of dopamine to be gotten

i dont have much playtime here cause i play the standalone version. but ive been in love with this game since the second closed beta! there's absolutely zero p2w and has systems from many different games you usually only see in singleplayers now in a mmo game. the base building and all the textures/skin options are fantastic, the gunplay is more fun than most other mmo's with shooter elements, and the exploration feels rewarding since there are many secrets scattered troughout the world.

its crazy to think this game is free to play. it definitely is my favorite mmorpg in years!
