Not much that I can say that hasn't been said better elsewhere. Half Life: Alyx is perfect and if you have a PC with VR, and haven't tried it, you're doing it wrong.

[edit] Based on recent communications from FDEV, I want to emphasize this review as SCATHINGLY NEGATIVE. I haven't been as disappointed and saddened by the developers of a game I love since Blizzard sold their soul to their shareholders. They have also clearly stated that VR will no longer be developed for Elite, and that ship interiors will NOT happen. FDEV is out of touch. Go play Star Citizen. It's buggy, but so is this, yet Star Citizen is bold and ambitious, where Elite has become cowardly and 'safe' [/edit]

Odyssey has good content that is difficult to enjoy because of how plagued with technical issues and the worst performance of any game update I've seen. I understand there's no VR support for on-foot gameplay, but coupled with the games other issues makes Odyssey a non-starter for me.

in VR, Frametime for the GPU AND CPU increased about 300% (1/3rd as good) from Horizons. In 2D, my system could handle E:D before Odyssey at 120-200fps, and with Odyssey, it's down to 25-65fps.

Back to Horizons until this botched mess is sorted out.

I'll update my review if this happens, but I'm afraid we'll be waiting a long time

This is the best desktop overlay app I've used.

Those of you playing a very CPU-heavy game like DCS World or Elite Dangerous, TAKE NOTE! This overlay uses almost no resources at all especially when the overlay is hidden, where it uses as close to none as I think is even possible today.

I used OVRdrop for Elite Dangerous, but it has a massive performance hit on the CPU and only allows one uncurved overlay. XSOverlay was awkward to use and has no keyboard inputs to hide/show, and wasn't resource-light.

Desktop+ has pretty much everything I need out of a desktop overlay.

So far the most immersive open world game I've experienced.
It's buggier than a AAA launch should be, but despite that, I'm enjoying the hell out of Cyberpunk 2077.

Highly recommend. This is some of the most sadistic fun I've had in a game.

The gameplay is incredibly satisfying, the art is consistent and beautiful, and the sound design and score are >perfect<

It's a relatively short game, but it's so much fun that it's easily worth the full price. I keep coming back to it even though I've finished it because it's that fun.

The more I play, the more I love Pistol Whip. The only rhythm game I've played in VR that can compare with this is Beat Saber, and like Beat Saber, the skill ceiling is sky high.

Important to note that there is an aim assist so you can focus on the rhythm and movement without having to become a professional fast shooter. Although if you're really looking to hone those shooting skills, you can turn off the aim assist and gain a 25% score bonus.

I can't recommend this game enough. A++ gameplay.

Writing a complete review of Doom Eternal would just be paragraphs and paragraphs of praise. There's almost nothing wrong with this game. If you like first person shooters or anything related to Doom or Quake, you probably already have this anyway, and if you don't, you should.

This is the most satisfying shooter since Quake 3, and coming from me that's high praise. Buy this. Now.
