Proxy has been hammering away at combat-focused 4X games since 2010's Conquest. This is their most refined, original game yet. It lacks the ready-made identity of Warhammer 40K, but brings its own weird world and leaders you can customize as you play through the tech tree.

It's solid. I would have preferred it simply lean on the grimness of the situation rather than using so many surreal elements, but I played it through in one 3 hour sitting and was into it the whole time.

Outstanding first person platformer. Pain free ledge resets and waypoint highlighting means the focus is on mastering the moveset and not on getting lost or redoing sections. Just a joy to play.

Early Access Review
The developers are still trying to figure out what this game should be, so only buy in if you're down for actual early access, with all the changes and growing pains that entails.

For those willing to brave those shifts, this is an intriguing adventure. The crafting is deep and quite fiddly, if that's your thing, and the prospect of exploring a variety of worlds (both handcrafted and procedural) is exciting. Combat is surprisingly satisfying (though not without issues) and the lore interesting even if the overall world is hidden from view.

I'm quite happy with my purchase and the time I've spent so far, and I'm very curious to see where this adventure goes.

The typical Tom Francis wit and layered design, now with special forces wizards.

Cool sci-fi noir mystery. Gameplay minimal, style maximum.
