One of the best farming management simulators I've played. The livestock breeding system is very in-depth, and the addition of having to defend your farm from wild animals or even raiders is pretty unique to the genre. 10/10 would breed livestock again.

Most fantasy games have you slinging spells that just feel like fancy guns. That can be cool, but this is one of few games where you feel like you're actually performing occult rituals. It is clear that the devs are well-versed in real-world mythology and folklore surrounding occultism (or have done impeccable research!) and yet applied that to their own fictional world with its own symbolism and sympathies, though with some overlap or references for the keen-eyed mythologist. Most of this applies to both Cultist Simulator and this game, but this game is a much more self-paced exploration of the fantastic and deep lore of their universe.

It's tough to explain the game to those not versed in the lore of this universe though. "It's a game where you're... a librarian. You catalog books... and sometimes help people find a book."

I love single player Carcassonne but now I see hexagonal tiles everywhere.

This is the best Tetris-based porn game I have played recently.

I played the free version before getting the remastered Steam version, and I have played a number of other roguelikes. I can only say that any modern roguelike should check this out for how to do it right.
