Early Access Review
My first impressions on No Rest for the wicked (early access)

What I like:

-What a beautiful game. It really looks like a moving painting.
- Performance on a fairly high end pc is good. Can't complain, FPS is well above 60
-walking around and combat feel very smooth and chunky. Movement is fluid.
-Combat is Top Down Soulslike with emphasis on parry which feels amazing. (Sekiro like) Using magic is similiar to souls like as well.
-like the idea of different runes on weapons (think Elden Ring)
- Item system feels really cool. This is were the ARPG system comes in.
- has a simple fishing mini game.

What I don't like or not sure about:
- Durability on equipment is kinda meh. Not sure why you would punish death and missplays by making it even more difficult to play and limit your options to overcome obstacles.
- Like the crafting idea, not sure yet why they have implemented all those ideas. Chopping trees and picking ore takes a too long and I'm not sure why. I assume you'll be faster once you get better equipment.
- Picking up items on the ground should be automated. Doesn't make sense to me to pick up 3 coins with a button.

Steam Deck:
- Works on steam deck but it is not really playable. FPS is not consistant enough. It is about 30 fps, but regularly drops to 20 or even lower. Would definitely wait.
