they some how made a worse game than number 1, then abandoned the game, dont waste your money.

Game was great, lots of fun, recent updates have ruined the game, zombies spawning ontop of you, impossible to survive zombie waves

Edit* After giving the updates a little more time, getting to do the prison a few times, the game is complete trash now, sniper with 8x and the prison ai still shoot you from off screen while scoped in, yeah great fun that is to die to a dude with an MG34 you cant even see.

crashes and when it doesnt the gameplay is pretty meh, very dumb ai, in the 1.7hrs i played i killed maybe 20 enemies outside the tower killing everything else, seems boring, gonna refund till i see a change.

Fun game, took me about 20hours to beat, if i had done more side missions would have been longer, cant wait for ITR2 gonna be sick to play it with friends

this idiot is actually gonna try to do subs, he really didnt come to realise that his game is dead because of it, and will now die at the end of this month because of it, rip a fun game with an idiot for a dev.

dont waste your money. youre gonna buy the game for 30$usd just to pay a 15$Usd a month sub in a game that is already sub 1000 active players at any given time (at least 25-30% of which is double or even triple clients of the same user) game was already dead and now subs is gonna be the last nail in the coffin.

i hate to say it, i loved payday 2, and payday 3 is fun, when you can get into a game, 95% of the time i try to get into a solo, or even match making game, i get MM error and quit after about the 10th attempt, they really need to be acting faster than this to fix this issue

Dead game makes me sad, come by to see if anything has happened but nope. save yo cash for something else

Pretty solid remake, missing some key things tho that could have made it 10/10 for me, currently as is id give it 7.5/10, the original was an absolute 10/10 for me.

Pros:
- Great graphics
- Runs well on steam deck
- Lots of cool new additions to the story that make it fresh, but enough of the old to make it feel like original re4
- The new boss fights feel really good and again are close to the old fights to make it feel like re4
- Gun play feels fantastic, unlike re7 and re8, dont have to mag dump an enemy for them to die
- The new side quest or "Tasks" add some extra fun to the game
Cons:
-Some things that should be in the game have been entirely removed
-Some of the voice acting (Mainly the merchant and Luis) Were so god awfully done i almost couldnt handle it
-The new "hidden treasures" are not at all "Hidden" they are all just in locked chests or in slightly out of the way pathways. i did not see one single gem or treasure embedded into a roof or wall which for me is a big negative
-NO BLOODY LASER DOT FOR THE GUNS?!?!? WHY!!!! i really really hope they change this one, it is certainly the saddest part for me
-on my second play through not to the trader yet so i hope it changes this, but the first shotgun which i and im sure many others sold to upgrade to the next shotun was not on the wall in the house, so not sure if you just lose out on the guns youve sold in your first run through or not, and if thats the case that is somthing that needs to change for sure *Edit* There is a "buy back" option i missed on the merchant, so you can indeed get all the weapons back.


All in all, good remake, definitely cut some corners sadly, 7.5/10 for me, will def be 10/10 with a few fixes

Fantastic Tarkov alternative, if you like tarkov, but dont want to play the game 24/7 this game is an excellent change of pace, good gun play, good loot system, the space battles and breaching are unique and fun. games a bit lacking on content but id say its worth the 30$.

definitely better with a group. but not impossible to solo
