This game is utterly garbage, it's only redeeming quality is the complex enemy designs but that is not saying much.

Story is thin at best. 80% of the game is you just "running away" dialogue and story is stretched by having about 3-5 lines of dialogue and then 1-2 hours of walking through hallways and fighting stuff. Then at the last 20% you go fight the big bad where you get more interesting info dumps and dialogue then you ever did the first 80%.

Gameplay is boring, taking most player choice out with the paradigm systems. again only toward the end of the game does it get somewhat interesting but not by much.

Music is mediocre and "non-offensive". I say that because you are listening to same track 90% of the time and game could of been even worse if the track was irritating.

yeh dont bother with this game, its literally one of the worst JRPGs you can play. The people calling it a hallway simulator are not wrong.
I genuinely dont understand why this game at 70% mostly positive reviews. save your money or spend it on something else

It felt like they tried to reinvent/modernise metal slug and basically failed. Game is slow paced, and makes you collect items to upgrade your weapons, just feels like they didnt want to clone metal slug and ended up with a below average game in the process.

So if you expecting metal slug, dont buy it. If not, its ultimately you decision.
