Absolutely the best strategy turn based game ive ever played with my friends, the turns are fast and rapid as you dont need to wait long compared to other strategy turn based games. the combat is great in the form of flanking, blocking, tanking and casting spells even strategically planning where to have your heaviest units doing the most damage. as you can even join in on battles your ally start or yourself if they are next to the attacked target, forming some form of cooperative experience. the city management is alot of fun especially once you decide what your city will become for city, if you want it to solely focus on making troops or turning it into a city of mana to gain lots of mana to throw alot of spells is up to you as well as dependant on the leader you have. when it comes to the leader the customization is enough even if its not a whole lot but its enough to be satisfying to some extent, once it comes down to class and choosing specialization the real fun begins if you want to be a badass warmonger or a peace loving druid even a villainous necromancer its up to you. i really recommend playing this with friends as it will nearly ensure endless of fun.
